Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The weather, but we can't blame the accommodation for that! Minor point but a full length mirror would be good, as well as better lighting over the shaving mirror.
We were walking the coast path so the location was ideal. Accommodation was comfortable (room 1), excellent shower/ bath (important after walking all day). Breakfasts were very good. The Inn was very quiet so we didn't eat in every evening but when we did the food was excellent. Nice people.

Lovely clean property close to Tenby within walking distance and situated in easy reach to surrounding places of interest The bedroom was clean and very comfortable The breakfast and dinner was delicious and home cooked by Karen who is lovely and very welcoming we had a great time will definitely go again Thank you Karen for a very pleasurable stay

Bathroom mirror wasn’t lit well enough for shaving. Anti slip bath mat for bath/shower required. Grab rail in bath/shower needed
Good choice and variety on breakfast menu. Food was well presented. Food and hot drinks were piping hot Food cooked very well. Portion size was ample. Additional food was available if required. Crockery and utensils were clean. The room was very comfortable and warm. The bed was very comfortable. Tea/coffee facilities were good and additional items were readily available. Ample car parking at side of hotel.

Great location; on-site parking, the train stop nearby, beach and pubs a short walk away. Room was cosy and well-kitted. Host was lovely, very accommodating especially with our late check-in and our breakfast was delicious!

All rooms are on ground floor. excellent. Room 1 is huge, spacious. comfortable. Spotless clean..daily cleaning service Even had robes in the en suite bathroom. Breakfast plentiful.. breakfast cooked to order. Restaurant open only to residents..food exceptionally good. Free large car park. Excellent location to explore the area and beyond. Tenby 1/4 mile down the road. You can walk along the beach into Tenby. Railway station 100 yards away. (Penally) This place is a hidden gem. Will definitely return. The owner Karen was lovely. No complaints at all. Everything was fine.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the New Overlander Inn. Our room was clean and comfortable, the food (breakfast and evening meal) was freshly prepared and excellent in quality and quantity. Karen, the owner (and cook!) was very hospitable. We were made to feel very much at home. Although we were staying as a couple and, being January, it wasn't very busy, we could see that Karen's family is involved in the running of the hotel and would think, from the games in a corner of the restaurant that it's a very family friendly place. We'd definitely stay there again. Many properties in the Tenby area do not have on site parking. The New Overlander does and it's a valuable asset. 👍😁

The bed were two singles pushed together, this was the my only issue.
Absolutely amazing stay! We had a lovely welcome, the room was clean, warm and really well sized. The Breakfast in the morning was beautiful. Our host was lovely and chatty too. We will definitely be back!
