How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Difficult to see hotel from Edinburgh Park station as name of hotel blends in with colour of building. This was day time. I understand it is lit up in hours of darkness.

The bar lacked a variety of cocktails The most popular cocktails were not available which was a shame as I was looking forward to having a margarita Also upon check in I was told I could get breakfast in my room the following morning,however when I called I was told I’d have to come downstairs and get the breakfast to take back up to my room.
Everything was amazing, the room was big,clean and the bed was very comfortable The breakfast was great The sauna and swimming pool were very relaxing and just what was needed to relax and unwind

Nothing everything was good
I really liked the buffet breakfast, and there are many options. The pool and gym is great aswell. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location to get to the city centre is brilliant as you have the tram and train station right outside

Great hotel, ideal location and very friendly staff. We stayed here as part of my birthday trip and the hotel staff were so kind to leave a birthday card, small bottle of Prosecco and box of shortbread biscuits and also gave me a voucher to get some free drinks from the bar, this was very kind and much appreciated.

The parking lot of the hotel is also a public parking lot, so parking there can cost up to 30 pounds a night. Unless you register with Accord hotels: in that case it's "only" 8 pounds. Also, the lockers at the swimming pool are only usable with a one pound coin, which is inconvenient if you're a tourist without cash :-)
Ideal for a night before or after a flight. 10mins by car to the airport. Check-out at 12 is very convenient as well! Friendly and helpful staff.

We found the trains and tram quite noisy during the night.

Seems no daily refill of shampoo and bath foam and we have to visit counter in lobby for toilet paper at night.
Staff is nice and friendly. Have a dinner in the restaurant and food is good. Very convenience as close to the tram station and retail park.

Lovely staff especially the lady who we checked in with very helpful.Super clean the cleaners done a fantastic job at cleaning the rooms . I would 100 percent recommend staying here very convenient for the travel into Edinburgh town centre as he ran is very close by .The beds and facilities were also very good .

The sauna was not on, there was no toilet brush in the bathroom and the waiting staff forgot to bring ordered food a couple of times

You have to pay for parking which should be free parking for staying customers.
Location was few minutes walk to Edinburgh Park Central tram station which gets you easily to the city center and most prominent attractions for sight seeing. With a 3 or more days pass, a budget way to travel without driving into city center. Facilities were good with gym and pool. Room was kept clean and staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here.

I loved the buffet breakfast and kids buffet at dinner. We liked that it was so close to the tram station. The gluten free bread/toast was amazing! It was great that the chef could accommodate my dietary needs.

Parking is not included, although available at discounted rates Breakfast is not included, but there is a Business Park just opposite, so no biggie.
