The water in the shower was barely lukewarm on the hottest setting, there were few main lights in the room (had to switch on a lot of lamps) and the bulb was missing from one. The chairs were not super clean.

The location was great and the room was spacious. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bar looked very nice although I did not get the chance to use it.

I have fantastic experience however there some things need immediate attention Some tiles in the pool are lose when you walk on them the hole section of floor moved and water was coming out it’s a little bit dangerous Sauna was unpredictable on if it would work Carpets looking a little rough could do with some new ones

Great location so close to everything you need I booked this hotel pacifically because it was only a short walk from my workplace , loved that is had pool and gym spend my free time in there Pool was small but I thought it was decent size

Rooms need updating, no USB sockets, no biscuits, breakfast has reduced in choice since last year. No fried eggs or fresh fried tomatoes, Expensive. I booked an extra rate and was shocked to pay £170 without breakfast

This was my second stay at this hotel and it never disappoints. The location is excellent with two supermarkets right next door and lots of bars, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Staff are friendly and rooms are well equipped and clean.

The organisation was very poor and we were not given any help when we were asked to change rooms. We are in our eighties and this was upsetting.

When we arrived we had been allocated the wrong room and once we had unpacked we had to swap rooms with another family (with the same surname) but who had two children as well and who also had unpacked. My husband has severe Parkinson’s disease and we are in our mid and late eighties

A lot of noise from the corridor. Apparently the room was soundproofed-it clearly wasn’t. Though that may be an issue with booking.com saying it was. It shouldn’t say the room is soundproofed when it isn’t.

Great location with easy access to the city centre, train station access to peak district. Room was a good size and clean. Nice heated pool

The young lad and lady on check in had zero customer service skills. He had the personality of a broom. Handed me my key without saying floor number or room number. No warm welcome. I found him bored in his post with zero customer service energy, the young girl the same. I was waiting ages at the bar even though it was empty. Had to ask for more towels. One in the room even though the booking was for two adults for two nights. Also had to ask for mote toilet paper. This shouldn't be needed

The lifts were very noisy and rickety, I felt like they would break down any minute. Customer service at the front desk was underwhelming.

Toilet in a separate room with no sink area, crusty bits on armchair in lounge area of King Suite. Internet was awful.

Location was good, close to Railway Station. Check in and out was fast. Great breakfast! Clean room.
