The thermostats on the radiators were not working, so the room was very hot.

Old 'manor house' with character in very nice quiet location. Very good continental breakfast. Nice food for dinner. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money.

Bed was slightly hard, but we still managed to get some sleep. Amenities were great, just a bit out dated. Wouldn't deter us from staying again tho.

Lovely hotel. Amazing staff. Couldn't do enough for you. Ideal location. Very peaceful

The breakfast was ok for the price, some of the pastries were not very good and the meat free ham was a thumbs down for us!

People should be aware that no food is available on week day evenings and there is nowhere local to get food, no cooked breakfasts are available just a cold table. There is also no bar facilities as the hotel is not licensed for the sale of alcohol. There is no Internet access so was unable to work in the evening, phone signal for me (O2) was also very poor

The hotel building was a lovely old house and the room was clean with everything needed

Breakfast fine, but there was no marmalade! The restaurant wasn't open, and they had no licence for the bar during our stay - which meant that we had to go out on foot or by car for meals - would have been nice to have stayed for one evening meal.

Good place to stay. Our room (Room 1) was at the front, which overlooks the car-park and a tree-covered hillside. Large, with a decent bed. Easy access by car to all sorts of places. However, for foot/bike access, be aware that this is halfway up a hillside out of Bingley, and the nearest bus stop is only 2/3 the way up to the hotel. The most pleasant walk downhill is via side-roads/footpaths to Five-rise locks (NICE cafe) then down the canal to Three-rise locks and into town. Breakfast - they currently provide continental breakfast - a good selection of cold meats, cereals, pastries, juice, toast, jam, tea/coffee. We only stayed two nights, as part of a planned holiday, but it was very nice.

The room was really hot and we couldn’t turn it down, we didn’t actually say anything to the staff which is our own fault…I’m sure if we did they would have helped.

The staff were very friendly, the breakfast was really nice and the bed was super comfy. This hotel is really quirky, very accommodating and just genuinely a nice place to stay. My daughter thought she was staying in a castle.

Boring breakfast. Would have preferred a cooked breakfast and decent coffee. Disappointed that the restaurant was only open on a Saturday night and bar was not open for alcoholic drinks to be served in the evenings. Not even the croissants were heated up. Generally lifeless which was a pity in view of the pleasant surroundings.

Nice big room and friendly staff. Easy parking and quiet location. Good that it was easy to come and go. Easy to park in Bingley itself in the evenings.

Breakfast. The bad was very hard, I just prefer a soft bed so that’s not a criticism.

The building was lovely with beautiful stained glass windows. The Were very nice. The evening meal was delicious and very good value for money. The breakfast was not very good it was continental with very little choice the coffee was good though.

I missed a cooked breakfast. Whilst the breakfast room was presented beautifully and the staff were brilliant, there really only was cereal/croissant/toast which was fine but for me the reason i wouldnt stay again. Also the bar was non alcoholic which was a real shame. It seemed to me the heart and soul of the building had been taken away.

Beautiful old building with stunning features, fireplace and stained glass windows. Room was very big with a four poster bed and bath, it was comfortable and warm. The staff were exceptional, very warm and friendly and could not do enough to help, special thanks to Mark who worked in the evning and the lady who hosted breakfast.

    Nothing really.

Friendly people that run this business as I have stayed here before. Room was warm and the bed was comfortable with a nice shower in the morning. Wifi worked well with no issues. It is out of season for the hotel so no cooked food was available but they recommended some eateries in Bingley so I went to the Brown Cow Pub which was very nice and great food with a good choice of Ales.
