Lack of taxi's getting from the train station to the hotel (I was told in town it was a friday night rush)

Surroundings were lovely, hotel had a comfortable/luxurious feel. Staff were helpful. I didn't use the facilities as I was only staying over night, but there were lots of opportunities to have pampered myself.

Only thing was pool was a little busy and the waiter served us our bread rolls last even though we got there before other people who were served first but only a small thing.

The staff were extremely polite and it was lovely to see the wonderful service they gave us. The breakfast and dinner were lovely and our room overlooking the courtyard was relaxing. Lovely stay, thank you so much.

The changing facilities in the pool are in dire need of modernisation. It lets the hotel down badly.

Staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Hotel had been decorated for Easter with lots of little treats for the children - including a little welcome surprise. Gardens were fun to explore too.

The staff were super helpful and friendly. A beautiful well kept house and gardens, was a pure delight to stay there. The room was modest, and clean and had a good-sized bathroom. The food was excellent though not many options for vegetarians.

Swimming pool area needed attention as did outside of buildings.

Good breakfast and dinner but rather expensive. Attractive sitting areas with newspapers. Slightly old fashioned - found this attractive. Bathroom with bath rather than shower was good. Very attentive and helpful staff.

I have so much enjoyed this beautiful hotel!! The food was delicious, the staff was so helpfull and friendly, the room was very lovely decorated as was the whole hotel. Very cosy lounges with a fire place. Wonderful swimming pool. The location was beautiful surrounded by a lovely garden.. a place I would love to back to with my whole family! Thank you!!

To add breakfast when we checked in was very expensive & the dinner menu was also rather for expensive. Chose to eat elsewhere as weren’t many vegan options either

Beautiful old building, superior room was a good size with gorgeous decor. Doors opening into the pretty courtyard was a bonus.

There's really nothing I didn't like, it was a good couple of days.

Just went to meet up with a friend to spend a couple of days together, so it was totally ideal. The hotel was in a beautiful setting and a lovely old building. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable and had everything you needed. Dinner was lovely, very good quality, cooked well, nice setting.

The only problem was not having a walk in shower which we were aware of before arriving, my husband has balance problems.

Both breakfasts and dinner were excellent. The table where our party was seated offered a lovely view of the grounds. The room was very comfortable, likewise our daughters room next door.
