Had problems with getting any heating in our room. Steam room and pool area a little tired. Room only had a shower, no bath.

£17.50 each for a buffet breakfast is extortionate. The breakfast was average. Got served coffee in a mug so it went cold. Should have been served a coffee pot or cafetière. Needed to have been a ramp at reception for disabled guests, especially as I had informed the hotel in advance my partner was disabled. All being well offering to help him up the stairs but a simple ramp would have been less embarrassing for him or any other disabled guest.

Lovely hotel and building, very friendly welcome. Luke the porter took us and our bags to our room. I asked for an accessible room and got one. Staff on reception were very obliging and helpful too.

We experienced some problems with the food and staff in the dining room at dinner.

Anna and her reception team were amazing. They gave us a warm welcome and were incredibly helpful. The breakfast was very good, offering a great variety of foods.

The room was not cleaned throughly on arrival and daily housekeeping required some prompting.

I think it have excellent warm pool and sauna. Although sauna on some days was too cold, eventually it warmed up well above the expectations. Staff are very helpful and approachable.

The duvet was a little small and light. The pillows were so soft and insubstantial that we used rolled up towels.

The site is beautiful. Loved the peacocks! The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The noisy corridor door by room 057. Oil needed - as it was in constant use by staff to service area

Our room clean was absolutely atrocious. Dirty towels left on the floor, bathroom sink not even wiped down and left dirty, dirty glasses left and not replaced, rubbish left on the floor and table, beds not properly made - covers just pulled up, the extra bed we had for our child was not even made up and the covers and sheet left in a pile at the end of the chaise. Really disappointing and get better cleans at the premier inn.

Beautiful accommodations and great location. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Reception did not tell us that the lift was out of order. We did not know this until we reached the lift on the way to our room on 2nd floor. A nice young man carried our luggage for us. The room was smelly but staff came quickly to spray the room. There was no water in the fridge as promised but it was brought promptly on request. There was not much hanging space in the wardrobe and no drawers. There was no stand to put the cases on so we had to keep bending down to the floor.The phone did not work which we felt was quite serious should there have been an emergency. We could not call for the 24 hour room service or assistance with luggage, or help should we have needed it. The sink did not drain well and there was no grab rail in the shower and no shower hat for use under the rainfall shower. The welcome notice on the TV did not change to our name during our stay. There were no sandwiches available in the bar for a snack so we had to have a large pizza.

Great customer service. They left a cake in my room because it was my birthday week. The breakfast was lovely. Rooms nice, big, clean and comfortable. Beautiful grounds. Had a pregnancy massage at the spa which was fabulous! Pool facilities were good. Overall a great experience.

My shower didn't drain, so I had to have short showers to prevent the bathroom flooding.

I booked in for a 48hr treat and it was ideal. The staff were amazing, the food was great and the room had lots of space and was very comfortable. I had a massage and enjoyed the spa. I went away feeling thoroughly refreshed and would recommend without hesitation.

The lifts were not working, this was a major issue for us as my husband is very ill and he struggled to navigate the stairs constantly. It resulted in him restricting his movement during the stay The room was beautiful but the very dirty window meant we could not enjoy the view The changing rooms by the pool were not available so I had to navigate the tunnel to the spa changing rooms…… a little scary A lot of noisy renovation work going on which was an issue as we came specifically for a quiet peaceful time as my husband is very ill

Beautiful grounds including the peacocks! Room was clean and comfortable, extra towels were provided which was great. Staff were courteous and friendly at all times . The breakfast was really lovely in gorgeous room

No jacuzzi , spa doors were rotten changing rooms were shut near pool and couldn’t hire dressing gowns , tap in room 48 very slow on sink

The very comfortable beds and nice to get twin double beds , luxury pillows and duvet and great bathroom/shower head was massive
