Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe food, the steak I ordered the first night was too tough to eat, didn’t offer a replacement or refund, just offered a free drink or breakfast, neither of which I wanted. The steak was on an offer but it should have been eatable . My bill was also messed up and had to ask twice to get it sorted. We eat elsewhere the next 2 days

United KingdomThere was 2 men staying in the room above ours and on the Friday and Saturday night they were extremely loud, shouting and jumping up and down on the floor. This was after 11pm and went on for hours. Left early Sunday morning due to lack of sleep.
We have stayed here a number of times and the hotel is fantastic. Great room and view. Evening meals were lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The Hotel is situated in a gorgeous position on the sea front and a real bonus just popping downstairs for lovely food and drinks. Mandy was also lovely and friendly ..nothing was too much trouble for all your staff.. we look forward to a return trip soon

United KingdomOn entering the hotel, you check-in by the bar, which, when busy, is a nightmare as you are standing there with your luggage and the staff are more interested in serving the public first. Breakfast was disappointing!!! When asked about breakfast, we were not advised to reserve a table, came down for breakfast most of the tables were reserved, yet again as a resident you are not priority!!! Surely they should keep tables for the residents before having the public take all the tables. Food was left waiting on the hot plate while the staff were all making the coffee's & the breakfasts were luke warm & had dried out. Rock hard sausages, toast & bacon. Two of our breakfasts were sent back twice, due to freezing cold then was told you will have to wait due to the other orders, basically you are at the back of the queue 😡😡😡😡. If like us you do not agree with dogs in a bar when there is food avoid, so many dogs are allowed in the hotel, although they have a poster a dog free zone on the wall for one area,people with dogs just ignore it and sit there.
Location was superb, Room was clean, bed was comfortable, our room was the smallest given which was No1, not much space, but not a huge issue.

Lovely warm welcome from Colin and his team on arrival, room was lovely and clean with everything we needed. Bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in for many years, a definite bonus!! Food in the restaurant was really good, both for evening meal and our breakfast. A really enjoyable overnight stay, will definitely look to stay again in the future.

United KingdomNot very warm in room - needs more radiators for size of room. Towel rail Keith falling off the wall. Old oil used in cooking I was poorly on two occasions once after our first evening meal of chicken burger and French fries snd after a cooked breakfast.
