Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNothing we didn't like.
The location was tranquil. We loved the wildlife in the garden, squirrels, rabbits and a woodpecker to name a few. The farmhouse was beautiful and our room was stunning and very comfortable. Very thoughtful touches like milk left for us in the morning and when we got back in the evening and lovely homemade cake in the afternoon. I would not hesitate to highly recommend a stay here.

I had a truly fantastic experience at this B&B! Such a stunning, peaceful location. Immaculately clean, the owners friendly and thoughtful, leaving me fresh milk both evenings and first thing in the morning. The fabulous breakfast was the cherry on the cake – great menu to choose from which made a delightful start to each day. Beds comfortable. Highly recommended!

This place was a real find. The previous reviews certainly weren't wrong! It's a beautiful farmhouse in a wonderfully peaceful setting. Spotlessly clean. Very well equipped bedroom/bathroom with luxury bedding, comfortable bed, and a good powerful shower. Very congenial hosts. We were greeted with a warm welcome, tea and cake in the sitting room, and tips on the local area including recommended pubs/restaurants and how to walk up to the village at night. It's a must do if you can; through the fields in the pitch black with nothing but a torch light to guide you certainly puts you at one with nature, we even ran into an owl! Good night's sleep followed by a plentiful breakfast with lots of choice including tea and coffee, cereal, juices, homemade muesli, jams and preserves, toast and several tasty cooked options. We only had an overnighter but will definitely be back!

United KingdomNothing. It was perfect!
It’s is a stunning and welcoming place to stay. The roads surrounding it are very narrow with few pull in points but that’s pretty consistent with the rest of the area. The farmhouse is true to its roots with visible beams and wobbly walls. It’s well cared for, clean and the ground beautifully kept. I’d like to come back to see it all in bloom soon!

SwitzerlandFarmhouse is quite remote so very peaceful. Hosts very welcoming, once we'd worked out how to let them know we'd arrived. Delicious breakfast. Very comfortable bed and cute rooms. Lovely to have all the extra communal space although we were only there for 1 night and didn't have time to use it.

United KingdomThe breakfast was superb, I had an omelette which was one of the best I’ve ever had. Lovely selection of cereals and yogurts too. The hosts gave us 2 locations to visit on route to our next destination which were beautiful places to see, very knowledgeable of the area and just helpful in all aspects. We will be visiting again and treating our parents to a stay there as they would also love it.

Absolutely outstanding in every respect. There's really little I can add that isn't another superlative. There is an extensive breakfast menu, but I just had cereal and mushroom omlette. This was probably the best mushroom omlette I've ever eaten. I hope I will be able to return soon.

AustraliaThat we missed seeing the visiting pheasant coming for a feed! 😂 Seriously…nothing.
This property was exceptional in comfort and service from the time we booked until we left. Lovely spacious room, comfy king bed, and a fabulous cooked breakfast. David was attentive to all our needs going above and beyond to even provide gumboots for a river walk. We had a car so the quiet location suited as perfectly to explore the local Constable country and surrounding areas. Thank you David and Paul for a wonderful friendly 3 night stay.

United States of AmericaThe road leading to the farmhouse may be daunting for those unaccustomed to driving country lanes. However, with some practice, it was no problem.
A restful place in a beautiful setting. Breakfast was exceptional, the antique furnishings lovely, and the size of our room was much larger than anticipated. We enjoyed walking in the countryside and had excellent meals at nearby restaurants (The Angel, The Crowne). The farmhouse is well-situated for exploring the Suffolk history and small towns and villages. The host was most congenial and helpful.
