I come from a hospitality background and found the front desk staff were not very helpful even though they asked was it our first time staying to which we informed them yes. The breakfast was fantastic but not much of a selection of the cooked food. I also put on the booking that it was my partner's 30th birthday and was disappointed to not receive a happy birthday plate in the bedroom and also I had to remind the restaurant staff that it was his birthday when he left the table for them to sing happy birthday .Also instead of the caramel log by the kettle I would recommend Scottish tablet. One of the questions asked did we visit Kames beach and our answer is No as we were not informed by any front desk staff that this was here. I would recommend a tourist booklet for the bedrooms to avoid this in future. Thanks again for an amazing stay :)

We were upgraded to a beautiful classic lodge with a lovely view. We also got a fabulous upgrade to use the spa facilities as the inferno pool was out of use. This was lovely as it was my partner's birthday. We really enjoyed the spa facilities and a big shout out to Chris for being so welcoming and kind during our stay. Dinner was 5 star , the Jack Frost and Vampire Kiss Cocktail's were very tasty big shout out to Toby and Paul for their great hospitality. Brilliant stay with fantastic views we can not wait to book and stay again :)

Having to book a time slot for pool area instead of walk in when you feel like a swim etc.

Spacious room & spotlessly clean. Good food at reasonable prices. Excellent breakfast especially smoked haddock & poached eggs.

Room was spacious, very clean & comfortable! Only slight thing was no shelving in bathroom (Lodge 1) to sit toiletries on but this is minor. Food was superb!!! Staff in all areas were super friendly. Beautiful hotel, will definitely return :)

Good produce, egg yolks should be runny when served & pastries too burnished for our taste, tables could be cleared more efficiently, we moved bowls/plates to nearby table to create space on table for two.

Site very spread out - We went in Winter (Feb) you need warm clothes to get around. I'm sure in Summer not an issue.

More sockets in the room would have been better. The temperature of the room was a bit cold even though the radiators were turned up to the highest level.

We stayed in the superior Lodge which was a lovely room. The spa facilities were great and the food in the restaurant was delicious. The views were outstanding. Would recommend going up to the viewpoint above Tighnabruaich...you want be disappointed.

There is nothing to dislike.

The location is fabulous - so peaceful and tranquil. The rooms are immaculate and each and every member of staff were wonderful throughout our stay. The pool and spa facilities are second to none.

Restaurant wasn’t as luxe as expected, it felt like being in a canteen with the open layout. Hard to have an intimate meal and conversation. Food was lovely but the dining experience felt like a process. Staff trying to take our order before we had time to look at the menu properly, and moved us from course too course rapidly. Bar was just an extension of the restaurant, would have been nice if there was a separate area for this.

Stunning location, such a good setup for the whole resort. Spa and leisure facilities were great, and well kept (cleanliness etc.) Staff very friendly.
