Location is perfect - beautiful home close to a petrol station, and 10min walk to multiple restaurants and shops in town. Breakfast was very decent - hot served eggs or pancakes amongst other options.

No for the property but must note that there is not much open for dinner on a Sunday night so be prepared.

Great location overlooking the Loch. Room was very nice and comfortable after a big day of walking. Great hosts who greeted us at breakfast. Food was delicious. The property is very handy for Isle of Skye and all the locations you would want to go to. A few days at least would be recommended.

The bathroom is a step up so you must remember else you’ll stub your toe.

Location, the staff, breakfast, parking. This was our final stop after driving the NC500. Easy access in and out of Portree. Good base for exploring Skye.

The shower was quite small but definitely manageable.

My dad and I had a short but wonderful stay at Portree guest house last week on our way up to Isle of Harris. The location of the guest house is a short walking distance to the town and also conveniently has parking on site. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The managers on site were extremely helpful, and even provided us with breakfast foods to go as we had to rush off to our ferry.

The towel rail! First we couldn't switch it on, then we couldn't switch it off. It got so hot that when I bent over in the bathroom, it burnt my bum!!! Everything else was fantastic.

Friendly welcome from Mike, as well as help to book an extra night. Very good breakfast. Nice relaxed atmosphere; great facilities. Thank you.

The best hospitality we had on our whole trip. Mike was super helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfy and breakfast was amazing. Also a very short walk into Portree and having parking was nice. Overall a great stay and we were made to feel like we were at home.

Loved everything!

We have been travelling and overnighting in Scotland for just over a week staying in very good locations and accommodations. In addition to the beauty of the Isle of Skye Portree Guest House has been our favourite - Mike made us feel so welcome and is an amazing host. We loved our stay there - would definitely recommend.........and breakfast was just the best!

Made to feel welcome from the second I arrived. The guys were great hosts and provided helpful insights into visiting the island. The views were stunning and only a short stroll to the main part of town, but far enough to feel separate from the busier areas. The guest house had everything I needed and the hosts added nice touches to make it even homelier. Very warm, accommodating and a place to chill after being out and about all day. Breakfast was lovely too.

The property behind had an overgrown garden that blocked some of the wonderful view. The guest house needs its own bar fridge as the town itself is always busy and we couldn’t get in to restaurants

Very comfortable guest house a walk away from the main town. We were placed in the freestanding guest room at the back of the property which gave us both a large space and privacy

There was some road noise but it didn’t go past bedtime ( I expect that most guesthouses are the same). The water temperature in the shower was impossible to control which was the only problem really.

The walls are paper thin. Usually you do hear some noise while staying in such old houses, but here I could hear exactly what my neighbours were talking about. From both sides of my room 🤦‍♂️luckily everyone around was tired from sightseeing (I know, because I heard them discussing it) and the noises stopped around 11PM.

Fantastic B&B for a quick stop while touring the island. Super comfortable bed and very clean room and (tiny) bathroom. Secure parking. Only 10’ walk from the city center.

The place is very friendly, with amazing view to the lake. The breakfast was the typical Scottish breakfast and was very good!
