The bar in the lobby wasn't very well stocked, but this is a minor quibble.

A comfortable hotel a short walk from Paddington Station. The hotel is situated in a quiet location, tucked away from the bustle closer to the station, and our room looked out onto the trees in the little square. The standard room is a reasonable size for London with a good sized shower and well-designed features like wardrobe space. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It was just what we needed for our final night in London.

Room this time was very small in comparison to previous stay despite the same room type being booked. Blind in the room didn’t work at all. Window kept rattling in the wind and couldn’t shut the double glazing screen.

Perfect location. Stayed here before and really enjoyed the first stay. Items in the fridge complimentary. Generally staff were polite. Bed was comfortable.

There was nothing I didn’t like as such. I was only in transit, staying 1 night so I didn’t get the full use of the facilities. Staff were very nice but I only saw them at check in. They had upgraded my room which is very nice, I guess, but they didn’t tell me what that meant exactly so I didn’t really get the advantage of anything that goes with an upgrade. I was supposed to get breakfast but I didn’t feel I had time as I needed to get to the Station and I didn’t want to get up extra early just to have breakfast. I’m not stingy and I always try to stay in good hotels but I had paid more than I really wanted to just for the location. If I’d been staying several nights, I’m sure my review would be more enthusiastic.

The rooms are very small,. I paid for upgrade it was tiny and the rooms are not soundproofed I could people talking in other rooms and in the hallways then at about 2am I could clearly hear the couple in the room next having sex. Not a pleasant experience

Background noise all night in our upgraded room. Think it was the large air con unit outside , my husband slept badly. We contacted reception but they couldn’t rectify. They said they hadn’t had previous complaints, but would get it checked by an engineer in the week.

Great location, near Paddington station. Our upgraded room (Topaz suite) was beautiful and spacious. Received excellent customer service at the front desk, especially from Mary. We arrived in the morning and was able to leave our luggage at the hotel and enjoy the day in London.
