Requested a Twin room twice on booking but still allocated a non twin room on arrival but was sorted straight away (this needs sorting out on booking.com so it doesn’t continue to happen) , also when asking housekeeping to come and make the sofa bed nobody turned up so on arriving back to the room at 10:30pm nothing was done and no spare bedding or anything to even make it up ourselves although on asking reception they first said “oh get you some extra towels” and was like that’s no good I need bedding! Was sorted in the end.

Lovely Central Location, Rooms were lovely. Very Quiet.

Really good location to British Museum. Wonderful gym facilities. Easy access to all kinds of food - fast food to haute cuisine. Close to where we wanted to be. Superb breakfasts. Nice amenities in bathroom/toilet area.

The water in sinks and shower wouldn’t wash off any soap not the one provided by the property nor the soap bar we bought.

Location was absolutely perfect, it is in the heart of central London but away from any loud noises and chaos. Spacious rooms. Very comfortable bed

The room was okay but very small and tired. Luckily, we are not 6 feet tall. They upgraded us, so l don't know what our original room would have been like. I requested a quiet room but it wasn't that quiet. I am not a moaner and don't like to complain. So l didn't.

Very noisy outside at night - somewhat out of the hotels control but I've slept in other hotels in central London with better windows and less noise The window blinds let in a lot of light. Coffee machine in room didn't work.

The room was extremely dark with a tiny window and decor was very dated. Hotel bar was quite bright and airy but was generally empty. Unfortunately did not enjoy the bar as was not very welcoming hotel bar. Service charge of 12.5% added on to every bill even if go to bar to order and bring the drinks to table!

The location was good and reception staff very nice and helpful.

There was a slight misunderstanding when we checked out regarding the £100 holding fee that they ask for when you check in but it was delt with swiftly and efficiently.

I booked this hotel for my partners 40th birthday and it didn't disappoint!! The location is good, the staff were very helpful and friendly and the decor is gorgeous. I emailed ahead and arranged for balloons and champagne in the room when we turned up we had balloons, champagne, rose petals and a card! I was so touched by the effort that went into it all. The room was lovely, we had an amazing view of the British museum and the bed was very comfortable indeed. We loved the Nespresso machine and the hotel Toiletries. There were slippers, dressing gowns and water replenished every day. Breakfast was delicious and we've already booked to stay again. Very happy customers!

Breakfast was a little expensive. One of the lifts wasn’t working, so we had to carry our bags down the stairs.

First impressions of the hotel were very good, beautiful building. FOH staff were kind and friendly. Our room was a good size for London, with a seating area and views of the street, great for people watching! Waterfall shower was amazing, best shower I’ve had in a long time! The room was quiet, bed comfortable, provided with a fridge and safe. Location of the hotel was perfect for west end shows and exploring the city. Gentlemen on concierge was very helpful, when leaving the hotel and flagged down a taxi. Great stay at this hotel and would definitely return.

Rooms were a bit small. The first room I had was cramped and on the street. I asked to be moved, which they cheerfully accommodated. The second room was much better.

The location was perfect for a family vacation. Being so near a Tube station made getting around quite easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great- nice selection, high quality food and friendly service.
