Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe taxi company you called.
They call taxi companies who are a rip off. They should get black cabs or advise clients to use Uber. Paid £16 for black cab from Victoria Station to the hotel, but paid £37 from the hotel to Victoria with the taxi company they called for me. Absolutely rip off.

It was a nice place, our first room was big enough, we loved it.

United KingdomDark bedroom furniture, bit outdated, TV at a awkward angle to watch from seated area and could not be adjusted, light switches not user friendly, took time to work out which switch did what, bedside light not for reading. Bathroom robes clean but material quite rough and uncomfortable, complimentary water was not replaced in fridge after use. Did not access Spa facilities as my requirements was not available and other on offer was limited. Restaurant menu could be more varied, not the best idea to serve unfilleted fish!
The size of the room and bathroom, lovely art pieces around the hotel, comfortable seated reception area, snack bar for after hours, lovely view of the Thames from restaurant, nice location for walks, jogging or cycling. Good choice at buffet breakfast, pleasant, courteous staff, comfortable seating in restaurant, nicely presented meals. Covered area from hotel to restaurant as it was raining. Service in restaurant very good and meals tasty and served hot. Unusual decor but in keeping with hotel style, good policy to help the environment.

United KingdomThere were no main lights in the bedroom, literally had to get ready in the bathroom. My husband found a rose petal between his toes in the night which was romantic but not ours 😭 Wallpaper is horrific They didn’t let us have a river view but out the front we did see a lady feeding pidgins and a large hole in the floor which if you use your imagination could be a swimming pool. Photos attached.
On arrival the man on the desk came down to the underground carpark to meet us to ensure we found our way to reception which was cute. Check in was fast and uncomplicated and no need for a credit card. Paid extra for a deluxe room and the room size was great. The decor was what can only be described as Asian, Versace inspired / TEMU home crossed with my husbands Jamaican grandmas house. Minus the plastic covers on the furniture but I feel this may happen soon. Bathroom was huge. Separate bath, shower, bidet etc You also get complimentary dressing gown and slippers but not nice enough that you’d want to take them home. Service was great. They brought us an extra steam iron up on request and a sewing kit as I burst out of my dress 🥲 Spa and gym was small and cute. We didn’t use the pool as it was cold and only as long as my husband. Jacuzzi temperature was perfect. But top tip, keep your head tilted back as the chlorine fumes nearly melted my eyelashes.

FranceALTHOUGH ALL WAS AS ADVERTISED, THERE WAS A LACK OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL - EMPTY SHELVES DESIGNED TO HOLD SOMETHING OR OTHER, INSTANT COFFEE RATHER THAN A SMALL COFFEE MAKER, TINY BOTTLES OF WATER ONLY JUST ENOUGH TO MAKE A CUP OF COFFEE. THE SINK WAS FAULTY AND WE DIDN’T FEEL IT WAS RESPECTFUL TO CALL HOUSEKEEPING AT 11PM.
WE NEEDED TO BE IN THIS PART OF LONDON, SO THE HOTEL WAS WELL SITUATED

United KingdomThe bed was a small double, river view was blocked by another part of the building, so only had a partial view. There was soap in the conditioner dispenser. There was an advertised, complimentary shuttle bus that was supposed to transport patrons to the overground stations but when requested, was told they stopped this during covid. The free spa and gym facilities were very basic, considering it is advertised a spa hotel. £20 per night for patrons to park is expensive.
Staff were polite and friendly. Hotel restaurant was nicely laid out and vibrant. A glass of Prosecco each on arrival was a nice touch.

United KingdomRoom 107 is right outside the main entrance and is noisy. The lights from outside penetrate the gaps in the curtains so it’s difficult to sleep. The room doesn’t have any ceiling lights so if you want to unpack anything you need to take your bag to the bathroom…… time to invest in some down lights.

United KingdomI was in a disabled room on the ground floor and it was a bit noisy both at night and early in the morning. I'm not disabled. There are no normal UK 3-pin electricity plugs by the top of the bed which was inconvenient. I also got a call from the bar at 10.30pm asking if I wanted drinks. They said they'd been told my room asked for drinks. I didn't. Breakfast was Travelodge standard. Dinner (Chicken Tikka Masala) was Tesco microwave meal standard.
The bed was comfortable.
