Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe evening meal. The starter Soup was disgusting and I was unable to eat it. Main Turkey and mushroom pie, the pastry was quite hard and the filling was tasteless. Potatoes were over cooked and burnt, the cauliflower had been reheated and wasn't very nice. Dessert, Gateau and Ice cream was really nice.
The breakfast was very nice. The staff were really helpfull.

United KingdomI was intrigued by the design of the building, rooms were half the price as they were in the city centre. No meals due to Covid, however the city centre is a 10-15 min drive. The decor is dated, but it was reasonably clean and had no unpleasant smells. Room was clean, nice to have a bath and shower in the room. Don’t expect 5 star spotless due to the age of the building. Staff were friendly and helpful, free parking.

United KingdomShoddy car park used by unsociable types using drugs, There was no bar service even though the receptionist said there would be, No food available and no availability for tea or morning coffee from the cafe area, The location is very poor and i would not recommend anyone to stay here. A very disappointing overnight stay if it had been for longer we would have moved to another hotel.

United KingdomIt is a basic, budget choice. The hotel is about a 15 minute drive away from Leeds centre but this may be longer due to current roadworks. Apple maps also took me to the back of the property (a residential area with no hotel access) so needs to be updated.
The room was a good size, staff were helpful and there was a very large parking area.

United KingdomThe bathroom was very dirty with piles of dirt in the corner. There was also a large screw and a nail on the bathroom floor that should have been dealt with by the cleaners. It was far too noisy. The soundproofing needs to be improved. It is on the main ring road and I got very little sleep because of traffic noise. Having no food or bar open was very dissapointing. I ended up paying stupid money for poor quality fish and chips that were ordered through just eat.
The bed was comfortable. the guy on reception was really helpful and pleasant. The actual bedroom was pleasant and functional. As the hotel bar and kitchen were closed there is nothing more to say

United KingdomThe first room was very small, much to hot and the radiator was on full. The t.v screen was smashed so we were re allocated. Lots of homeless and troubled people hanging around the entrance way. Not a good look.
The receptionist moved us upstairs to a bigger room and we both really appreciated that. Many thanks.
