Property is immaculate and had everything we needed. It’s small but cosy. Only a 10 minute drive from Dunoon and a shop just a couple of minutes down the road. We did a lot of walking which you could do from the property. Owners kept in contact and provided a good local information. We would definitely book again.

Because of my wife's disability, we found the steps difficult. Lights in cabin - beside light, kitchen light constant flickering. No starter pack of wood for fire. Back decking light not working. A bit early for exit. 11/12 would be nicer. Nowhere to store food.

My partner and I spent a lovely week there in September. This was our second time at Rashfield Sheilings, and we are planning to go back soon. It's really comfortable and clean, easy access. The woodburning stove is a bonus. Stephen and Liz are always helpful.

The weather! Found the supplied directions confusing and initially arrived at the wrong location.

Peaceful location near attractions such as Puck's Glen (unfortunately closed atm) and Benmore Botanic Garden.

2nd time staying at the lodges though this time we were in “Bramble”. The location was perfect and the lodge is well stocked with everything you’d need for your stay. Ideal location for a lovely peaceful break. Great communication from our hosts. I’d highly recommend these lodges to anyone. Exceptional standard. 😊

Where do we start. Arrived on the Friday tea time. Sun was shining, so a good start. Got the keys from the key press just as the owners said. Opened the door and were really impressed with was we saw. Very clean and tidy. Everything you needed was available, even a welcome pack with shortbread, crisps and caramel biscuits. The views from the decking exceptional. Local wild life came a calling for bread and biscuits, Robins, magpies etc. It would have been rude not to feed them lol. Cooking facilities were great. Ice box had ice already in it and it was very much welcomed. The wood burner was great but be,warned it soon warms up the place. cannot wait to go back.

Spent the weekend here . Was so Peaceful. Had Lovely walks by the river and the sun was shining so even better . The lodge is so cozy . Has everything you need. Only a 5 minute drive from the ferry terminal. Stephen was lovely . Anything you need he is there. We will definitely be back. Thank you

We had a great stay. The location is great the cabin is small but ideal for a couple wanting to relax 😌 the hosts where great with communication. Shower wasn't the best but understandable giving the remote location .

Unfortunately, the noise of the road affected our sleep, especially the weeknights.

Beautiful cabin in a lovely location, we enjoyed the coziness of the wood fire overlooking the river. The cabin has everything you need with friendly hosts.

It’s right next to the river and you can see it out the living room window, the wood burner made it so cosy and the tv has Netflix with an account for each lodge. Pucks Glenn is a 5 minute walk away and benmore botanical gardens are also about a 5 minute drive. Close enough to Dunoon that there’s shops a 10 minute drive away while still being out the way enough to have a private peaceful place. Everything was very clean and it smelled really nice inside the lodge. Hosts are very good at communicating and will help if you were to have any questions or problems.

Honestly cannot think of anything, suited us to a tee.

The accommodation was gleaming, was nice & warm for our arrival. Due to heavy storms on the day we travelled, Hosts kindly allowed early entry at no extra cost. Hosts available to contact but unobtrusive. Nearby activities include a walk/hike up Pucks Glen or a day wandering through Benmore gardens. Cot services are close and actually stock loads of local butcher products. Finally, the lodge has a real fire, always amazing.

Honestly couldn't fault the place! Lovely for a little getaway for two. Place was very clean and had all you needed. Bed was the comfiest - had the best sleep I've had in a while!
