This was nor a problem for us but in a hot spell of weather I can see that without air conditioning the small room could get very uncomfortable.

Downstairs room needs a new carpets sorry to say. Room is a little bit damp 😔 but lovely space if you’re not too tall😉

Check in process - the code was not sent prior to arrival despite following instructions in the message received, but was sent promptly when requested. The room smelt and felt damp, however there was no sign of damp on walls or any visible mould. They tried to cover this by having a gas radiator on prior to arrival but it made the room too hot to be comfortable at this time of year.

The property was easy to find, the room was clean and well presented.

Room was a bit small but we already knew based on what we booked, but wasn't an issue.

Very good location, easy check in, clean, good communal space with kitchen. Parking available on streets opposite. Comfy beds. Clean bathroom.

Barely anything.

Good location in the heart of Windermere. Staff were rather prompt to unclog our toilet. We had much privacy to ourselves. Very complete kitchen

We had the room in the basement, with low ceilings. It is not ideal for anyone over 6 feet. My son and I banged our heads (despite warning notices) and he had to bend to use the shower. There was an eccentric request to deposit toilet paper in the bin and not to flush it, to prevent blockage. The beds were good, the room damp muff and damp. The carpet was worn off. There was a small window without a view

It was easy to find and enter the accomodation - the code had been apped to us in advance.. The host was very helpful indeed.

The room and the bathroom were a little small but manageable for a few days.

The location was very central to the different places to visit in the Lake District. The room was good but a little bit small. The kitchen and laundry facilities were very good and convenient.

The bed was quite tired - worn and too soft! There is really not a lot of parking out front (most cars were parked on double yellows) but the paid carpark isn’t too far away

Great location. Room and En Suite was super clean with comfortable bedding but the hall way, stairs and landings were old and untidy. Overall it wasn’t a bad stay.

The windows were tricky to open our close.

Perfectly comfortable room, they kindly moved us to the ground floor to accommodate my recent broken ankle, and we were really pleased there was a kitchen and washing machine available for guest use. Location is perfect, right by the bus stop, the centre of Windermere and a lovely pretty short walk to the lake (with lots of benches on route). We didn't see the hosts at all (just as we wanted) but their communicating before hand was brilliant. We'd definitely stay again. It's not luxury, but it's very comfortable, clean and just as advertised.

Short ceilings, and when placing don't disturb someone came in to do the rooms 2 days in a row. Also worth mentioning there is barely any natural light. (This refers to the room we picked)

Bed a bit soft for me but may suit others.

Very central. Great to be able to cook and meet others staying in the kitchen. Manager very responsive when our tv didn’t work and shifted us to another bigger room.
