Our room was very warm and we couldn’t alter the temperature setting. Breakfast was rather disappointing. Eggs on my cooked breakfast were undercooked and inedible as was the bacon.

We liked the location and the architecture of the building . Staff were very helpful and polite. Lovely coffee on arrival.

I wish I had more time there. It was a very short visit. I found it VERY expensive - but then I'm from Somerset and not used to London prices.

Lovely large room for central London and very comfortable. Breakfast lots of choice and excellent quality of food available. Delicious. Location was perfect for where I needed to go.

    see above

The ambience of the public rooms is first class. The position near to Eurostar is excellent. I stayed two nights, one before my journey to Paris and one on my return. I thought it was very impersonal and I was not impressed by the breakfast staff on the Sunday morning. This does not mean I wont stay again - the position is terrific and in general it is an excellent place to stay.

    Nothing

The public areas were extraordinary. The deluxe twin room was reasonable in size by London standards, very clean and nothing special. What made the stay special was the dining room, bar area and the staff. The restoration of St Pancras is sublime and a feast on the eyes. The staff were unpretentious, charming and professional. I’d go back in a flash.

We were allocated a room with a wet room bathroom for guests with restricted mobility. This was not requested and was disappointing. This was disappointing when compared with other rooms we have had at this excellent hotel. Being fully able, we found the fittings were at an awkward height and the flooring did become slippery. Also, we had to ask for teaspoons and breakfast tea bags. Which was rather surprising given the standard of housekeeping we have come to expect on previous stays. It showed a lack of attention to detail. We, however, definitely will be staying at the Renaissance again

It was very noisy all night with the sound of the tube trains and cars and emergency vehicles outside. No double glazing as its a listed building I presume, but could benefit from secondary double glazing added which would be acceptable.

The check in and welcome glass of prosecco, the helpful staff, the meal in the french restaurant was outstanding, the night manager/porter was great too making check out effortless as we left early to catch the eurostar

Room lovely. Staff on concierge helpful. Evening drinks in the booking office we were shown a table for 2 round the side which we requested to be moved toatable for 2 with the nicer more comfortable chairs, but were told they were for diners till 10pm even though it was 9.45pm and theree were several tables empty

The only sour note was that, while having a few drinks in the Hansom Bar, I was twice brought the most expensive red wine, despite my ordering a (slightly) lower priced one. The 'mistake' wasn't apparent until we paid the bill, and by then it was too late.

Right from the moment we walked in the imposing entrance, the staff could not have been more helpful or attentive. We were made to feel like valued guests at all times in this iconic London landmark. We spent a good few hours simply relaxing in the various bars and seating areas, soaking in the legendary building and the atmosphere of the whole place. We've passed the hotel many, many times and now we've stayed there- it certainly lives up to its reputation, and we'll definitely be returning before too long.
