Not very well soundproofed.

We got a better room than expected: very spacious, bathtubs in the bathrooms, several pillows provided, beautiful view, large parking area, restaurant next door for dinner or breakfast, comfortable beds.

The only complaint I have is although the bedroom I was in was comfortable there was no mirror, I use curling tongs to do my hair, I found this a bit of a chore which with a small mirror is easily rectified the bathroom mirror was excellent for makeup but obviously no plug in a bathroom

Beds were a bit narrow, the walls on the bedrooms had some marks from over the years, just general wear and tear. The room was so hot at night but you can't help the sun. Other than these things it was a great trip.

Hotel was in a lovely location. Staff were very friendly. It was a hot few nights and our room did get the sun most of the day so come night time it was very hot in the room. The staff gave us a fan for the room which made it bearable. The beds were quite narrow but very comfy. Plenty wardrobe space. Nice large shower. Very clean bathroom. The bar/restraunt was fantastic. The meals were really good, breakfast was fantastic. The staff at the bar, Katie especially, were so welcoming and friendly. We're planning our next trip and will definitley be coming back.

The beds were not great and the pillows were terrible. There was a bedside lamp but no outlet in which to plug it in. The doors slam quite loudly.

Some noise from what sounded like an extractor fan which was pretty loud, I think was on out side of building my window, started fairly early in the morning, only a minor annoyance.

I am a wheel chair user and was able to use a ramp up to reception but was not able to access the ground floor room as it was in a separate building with no accessibility.

Everything was as expected.

Nice and quiet location in Boʼness, with a spacious parking. Friendly and welcoming staff. The room was comfortable and very big with lots of storage space. Bathroom was clean and well maintained. If you are looking for accommodation outside Edinburgh, but within 1 hr drive, consider this one. Perfect for 1 or 2-nights stay.

A noisy extractor fan outside my bedroom window from the kitchen, small windows that wouldn’t open much and it was hot no fan in the room

A good size car park but no electric car charger. Enough disabled spaces.

Nice place, not far from the waterfront and town "center" and the railway museum. Great comunication with the receptionist, she let us leave the luggage at the reception before we could check in (in fact in one room we could check in much earlier without any surcharge). She also gave us advices about bus connections, ordered an airport taxi etc. Very good dinner in the restaurant and good selection of beers on the bar. We recommend this place.

Kitchen

The room and bathroom was overwhelming but there is no brush in toilet to clean! Kitchen no adjust fan to extract smell from the room, sink was leak while we wash the dish! Better to repair first and make it available to rent out
