Stayed here with 15 others as a pre-wedding stay and 20-something then night of stay too. Staff were excellent, from ease of check-in and helping to allocate the rooms so certain rooms were next to others through to check-out nothing was too much trouble. Had a big meal for 17 of us the night before the wedding which was lovely, everyone enjoyed the food and meals all came out together which is always good, but not always common, with big groups bookings. Our group ranged from the older generation through to toddlers and all were happy and comfortable. Would high recommend this place for any kind of stay and for any group!

Quite expensive, but that's maybe just the going rate in the area. No bath just a shower which was disappointing after a long day travelling. Noise from stairs and room above was a bit annoying but to be expected I suppose

The only criticism is the stairs for the bathroom - not for the faint hearted or for those who have problems with their movement and definitely not for those who like a few jars before turning in as it would be one hell of a climb to break the seal. Having visited Holland many times - I have climbed easier Dutch staircases then that one.

I have stayed here before a year ago - liked it so much that I returned as was in the ideal position for my work the following day. Staff were friendly and the pub was busy with regulars from the village as well with other travelers like myself. Stayed in room 7 - strange and unique - the bathroom is up with the Gods - you have to climb a staircase to it.

The curtains didnt offer much coverage and so the light came in at 5am. Otherwise it was a great location in Adderbury, in the very pretty Cotswolds.

Standard pub and facilities. The stay was a last minute overnight and cost £165 via Booking.com. In hindsight, booking direct through the website may have been a more economic outcome. The bed and bedding was very comfortable.

We loved the charming building and its well- preserved features and characteristics. It was like travelling back in time but with all the comforts. Our room was spacious and clean with really comfy beds. I adored the decoration and absolutely loved the otter portrait in the bathroom. Staff were very friendly and welcoming both on the phone and in person.

Each bedroom was individual with good facilities! Stayed as a family, had 3 rooms. Each room was very spacious with comfy beds and good facilities. Ate breakfast on both days. Good quality and great service!

It’s a bit loud because of the pub below, however the pub closes at 11pm and the place quiets down right after.

Lovely hotel/ pub. Friendly staff, very clean, tidy and comfortable room. Nice breakfast. Loads of free carparking. It's an old place (17th century) so lots of character but up to date in terms of facilities.
