The price of £120 per night should really include breakfast. I can stay in London for that price with b/f included. The shower had absolutely no pressure at all, and on checkout there was no one to talk to, only restaurant staff covering front desk as well so was busy

Extra charge for breakfast. We asked to change rooms and our second room was better than the first - main problem was the pillows which smelt of sweat. I suppose it would have been very hot over the summer but this is something the cleaning staff should surely check.

The staff were amazing! The location is quiet and peaceful with a lovely sunset. The facilities are also lovely. The only thing we found is that the rooms weren't very soundproof. Some guests arrived late at night next door to us and though they weren't overly loud, it did keep us up a bit longer. That said, we would definitely go for an overnight weekend trip again.

My only minor observation, which is something I've encountered in many hotels, was the cleanliness of the bathroom door on the inside. It appears to be a common oversight where the door's inner surface, perhaps hidden when the cleaner is working in the bathroom, doesn't always receive the same attention as the rest of the space. While a small detail, it's something that, if addressed, would truly elevate the already high standards of cleanliness.

The bedroom was a good size but with tired furniture. The bathroom needs upgrading, shower curtain rather than glass panel and poor pressure from the shower.

The restaurant and bar area is light and airy and tables are well spaced. The menu choice is incredible and the food excellent. Well presented and extremely tasty. 😋

Shower got very hot and although we tried all sorts of combinations we couldn’t get it to cool down. The continental breakfast was a bit thin, didn’t have any croissants or pastries, no meats or cheeses.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful, cooked breakfast was freshly done to taste. Rooms were comfortable and restaurant food was good.

Soap dispenser in bathroom could not be reached from the bath, whether sitting or standing under the shower.

Very clean and tidy… very helpful staff. Also ate evening meal which was very good and priced well for a two course. The canal being close , made for a nice evening stroll after dinner.
