Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not enough spaces for everyone. I had to park out the hotel in another car park which I paid £15 for overnight parking
Staff were friendly, environmental was comfortable, facilities were clean. The location was great.

Only 1 coffee machine at breakfast! The queue was ridiculous. Especially considering it was only a pod machine that had 2 options, decaff or regular! Very poor.
Staff were great. Food was nice. Rooms were well equipped, quiet, comfortable and a fridge was a real bonus.

The lift was so slow we ended up taking the stairs most of the time.
Large comfortable room with a great buffet breakfast. Super location as well, not far from the station and close to some good restaurants and bars.

The elevator could be improved, as it was quite slow and often crowded with people waiting.
The hotel and the room were very nice. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the river.

The parking was a bit tricky, and I think customers should be advised of the carpark layout before arriving. We had a fairly large vehicle, and it was difficult to manoeuvre out of the car park when we realised it was full. It would have been nice if there was a bar area downstairs, separate from the restaurant, where you could relax on the comfier seats.
The location was very central so easy to walk to many different places. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

Great location, I was able to walk to everywhere I wanted to visit in Glasgow. The room was very comfortable and had more things than I was expecting (fridge and microwave).

There was a dirty plate outside of my room probably from the room service of the room next to mine. The plate was there for the whole night.
The location was pretty nice just a few minutes walk from the city center. Staff was really polite and willing to help with my early check in.

There was a fan in the bathroom but it didn’t come on at all during our stay, which meant we had to prop the door open with the tissue box because the bathroom door has a door closer (we understand the various reasons for having a door closer but due to the fan not working it was the only way to allow the bathroom clear of humidity etc.)
Staff were lovely, it’s a decent location where it’s still very central but that little bit away from the hustle and bustle. Bed was very comfortable, might be a bit high for some to climb into. Although we didn’t use them, having a microwave and fridge in the room is great, if we were staying longer I’m sure we’d be appreciative of this. Bathroom is a decent size, having the option of rainfall shower head or normal was nice.

We had some basic issues with safety for a wheelchair user- the phone didn’t work so there was no way to contact reception. Otherwise there were a couple of small bits - not huge but show a lack of care -Cushions on the sofa and chairs were stained and dirty T V Remote control didn’t work
Good location in the city centre and with nice restaurants nearby The Suite had lots of room and it was nice to have time option to cook and eat in
