The Fridge smelt mouldy, The cleaner knocked on my door at 10pm when I was falling asleep to find out if anyone was in the room, and then spoke very loudly on his phone whilst he was cleaning late at night. Wet washing was hanging on the bannister rail and smelt damp. There were no instructions on where to find the room keys once I had entered the house. In the morning the mat on the floor in front of the toilet was very wet, maybe from cleaning, but I'm not sure.
The Mattress was comfortable. There was a working kettle. I could park directly outside the house.

United KingdomArrived appox 2340hrs, I had to find the high level door bell in the dark and spoke to owner over intercom. Door eventually answered by non-owner and allowed in. First offered small bedroom approx. 9ftx6ft with single bed, dirty /stained furniture and smashed inoperable (fully open) window blinds. Most importantly, it was impossible to physically close room door due to smashed door frame / broken lock (with missing key). Eventually after about 10 minutes of discussions, I was offered another normal size room with double bed. The room looked a lttle scruffy but I had to accept it due to my late arrival, the absence of the owner and my long flight/ travel time. I found that the room was not properly clean. I found a cigarette lighter under pillow and a few bits of tobacco in the bed. Felt like I slept in someones dirty bed. Room possibly not set up for guests regarding furnishing ie three (!) table lights with various cables on the floor next to the side of bed. Curtains were not wide enough to cover window (60%), woke early due to daylight. The shared bathroom was clean and tidy, but I gave up waiting for any hot water. Left earlier than originally intended at 0800hrs. One of the worst B&B's /hotels I have stayed in.
The person who attended to me was friendly, but was not the owner. He spoke to owner by phone, but could not resolve problems with first room and eventually offered me an alternative which was better, though not properly clean.

United KingdomI booked the Deluxe room because I needed somewhere for me and my partner to stay the night after picking him up from the Luton airport. I checked in at 00:05 after a long day and tiring drive into London. My partners flight was delayed several times and he ended up arriving 2am. We found the window blinds were not functional and the room was quite cold; it would be good to have curtains in the colder months and for those who appreciate warmth and sleeping in the dark so that their sleep is not disturbed by lights filtering through the blinds. Lastly, the room was advertised as having a TV but there is no TV. We were not bothered because we were exhausted and only stayed the night - this note is for anyone considering a longer stay.
The room is a good size and has plenty storage (if you need it). There is a desk and chair, and it was in a neat and clean condition.

United KingdomThe condition of the whole room is completely different from that provided in the picture, it is a hoax. The sanitary conditions here are very poor, the first door to see the house stair railing on all kinds of messy sheets, into the bedroom after a strong smell, and the smell of dust, dust everywhere, the bedroom window can not be opened for air. The most ridiculous thing is that I booked a room with two single beds, one of the beds had a big 80cm hole in it, it was impossible to sleep, you would sink into the bed, my friend had a very difficult night in that bed, she barely slept. The soundproofing was terrible, the bathroom was dirty, and there was a lot of other people's hair in the bathtub
The check-in process was very bad. The landlord put the key to the front door in the safe, but did not provide my room key. I made four phone calls and no one answered, and then I found the room key in the kitchen drawer and entered the bedroom. The whole process took me half an hour

Czech RepublicThe whole checking and check out system was very stressful. Originally received a confusing message that I have to take different room and is NOT clean. I had no response to my enquiry about that info. Furthermore, I was given code to open key box, but the key boxes had already setup my code on it. One wouldn't open and another one was empty. I was panicking, as it was midnight and no original response from property. Nevertheless I tried the door handle and the door was open. I hade a good sleep apart from the noise from airplanes, as the entire sproperty was 'empty'. Next day I checked out, but had 7+ missed calls when at security at the airport. Furthermore, I received threatening messages on Booking.com that I didn't return the key to the key box and must take calls. I explained the situation in writen as there is nothing more to explain. Next day I received an email from Booking.com asking me to pay extra £70.00 for a lost key. I phoned the call centre explained and requested to wave the charge. Must say the quality of the call centre agent communication was very poor as well. But looks like I can finally relax after that horrendous experience.
Room was ok. Bed was ok. Value for money and close proximity to Luton Airport.

Broken blinds in upstairs windows. Unhelpful owner who promised to rectify but came back and nothing was done. By the way view is of a tree and a broken fence and old toilet system. Broken curtain rail in other top bedroom. Old mismatched bedding and sofa cushions provided as 1 of our pillows. As air b&b should be cleaned professionally this is not dust dirt full bins dirty oven really dirty bathroom with black mould. House holds up to 10 people 1 bathroom and an old outside toilet
