To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

IrelandWe checked in, and that was fine. However, there is a key scanner to gain entrance after hours and they forgot to tell us. After ringing the bell and telephoning, I had to bang loudly on the door, twice. I was told this was not polite. But I had no option. The other thing was the room was in a converted attic, so mind your head.

Room was too hot for our liking and no way to turn heat down One mattress was great other was saggy/soft Bathroom could've been cleaner was grubby in corners Shower entrance was literally right next to sink which made entry & exit a little difficult Shower tray was damaged at bottom, didn't effect use as such but was unsightly. Not enough towels - can ask for more

United KingdomWas told that room service would be every two days. I was there 6 and it didn't happen. The Reception is down a side street and round the back. When I wanted to change the dates I was told to do it via Booking.com Manage my booking. I was told that there would b e a reply within 48 hours - didn't happen.
I wished to change my dates and the venue was very accommodating. Location was ideal for travel into Manchester or Stockport.

There was a fragile sticker taped around the bathroom window that we couldn’t open for ventilation when we had a shower and the window in the bedroom itself wouldn’t open but had a draft coming through it so i don’t believe it was shut properly. There was one small towel and a hand towel on the bed, had to go to reception to get another. There was no hairdryer in the room so we had to ask at reception for that as well, when i was there a gentleman was complaining about his stay saying he wasn’t provided clean towels for his four day stay and that he also couldn’t open the windows in his room… the person at reception apologised and mentioned they didn’t have a designated cleaner which raised some red flags. The room didn’t look as welcoming as the pictures online and i don’t believe it was good value for money just for one night.
The bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size to move around. There was a mini fridge, a kettle and two cups with some tea and milk and a microwave in the room as well as a fan.

United KingdomNeeds a bit of work doing, looked as if it had closed down when we got out the car - the window sill in the room needed sanding down and painting. The curtains were too long and big, almost touching the bed which is a bit gross. The room was quiet dark and gloomy, even with the lights on. TV remote was missing a battery - would've asked if we desperately wanted the TV but should've been checked before we checked in. Reception isn't open until 3pm so had to wait outside for a bit in the snow until we could get inside - then was told it should be £10 extra to check in before 3pm but they will waive the fee this time (it was 2:45pm). I did try to call/email the hotel beforehand to request an early check in/late check out but never heard back.
Price was good compared to other hotels and adequately clean.

United KingdomWhere to start…. The room was advertised without the VAT/Taxes weren’t applied. So I showed up expecting to pay one price to find it was 20% higher. The car park is uneven and I have issues with my walking. I did send a msg in advance asking for a ground floor room or one near a lift. I got an upper stairs rooms and then told there was no lift. But there was….only for the staff. Also make sure you have photo ID when you check in.
Having a microwave and fridge was a godsend. The bed didn’t look like it was gonna be comfortable and I have to say I slept like a baby.
