The property did need a bit of TLC as in general there was bits of cracked paint on the walls/ceiling, an old smell through the hall and the yard/garden area was overgrown. Even though we did enjoy our stay, the apartment wasn’t the cleanest, we found a newspaper dated in June and general dust on shelves etc. Besides that, it did the job for us and what we needed.

We liked the location and the decor within the property, it was unique. We liked the additions of board games and leaflets.

The property could have been cleaner. It was a shame because although not filthy, it could have been better and let the place down a little.

The whole flat was an oasis of calm with plenty of space. Very seaside inspired which we liked. Near the town/train station, cafes and shops. It was a very calm atmosphere throughout the flat. We will be booking again for a longer period.

No sound proofing in building. Other guest had a dog downstairs which he was taking in and out . Fire doors banging untill late and kids were in bed.

Felt tea and coffee could have been provided. Dog charge added more cost to already significant price. 3pm get in and 10 am leaving time for a one night stay meant a rushed stay.

Not very clean. I found the rooms were very dusty and needed a wipe, there were multiple spider webs everywhere and we caught multiple bugs throughout our stay. Also minimalist parking and when I messaged about this I didn’t get a message back, however I was emailed owners number and I didn’t ring that

Found the lounge area Abit cold but it was autumn/ winter. However heaters supplied and house had 3 TVs so easy to keep warm in bed and watch tv at night. Never met the host as it was self check in.

Location was great. Apartment tastefully decorated in beach themed. Bed comfortable. Good appliances. Great shower Handy to beach and shopping only 10 mins away.

Felt a little damp, was some damage to the ceiling in the main bedroom from a leak or damp. No lamps in the bedrooms for a nightlight. Bins outside hadn’t been emptied for some time. Also a sofa randomly appeared down the side of the property one night! Do realise it was the end of the season so maybe work was starting on tidying up.

Lovely decor, modern and bright, good shower with lovely shower gel and shampoo supplied. Clean accommodation. Easy access into town and Blackpool.

The sink was blocked when we arrived at the apartment and had to call owner but it was dealt with promptly. The street was quite busy and struggled to park car but later in the evening we were able to get a space.

It was bright and felt like we were at the seaside and you could see owners had taken time to decorate it. The apartment was larger than we thought and the beds were comfortable.

Some grubby areas, towels were very damp. Oven baking tray dirty so I scrubbed it. Grill pan also dirty so did not use it so a lovely kitchen was spoilt.dishwasher was good.

It needs a spruce up- paintwork etc looking very tired. I think basics like tea and coffee and even UHT milk would have been great when staying for one night. The pillows are so so bad. Super lumpy.

Half a loo roll provided - would have at least expected a full roll for 4 people staying the night. There was no washing up liquid, sponge or dishwasher tablets - I’d expect something to be able to wash up with when only staying one night.

No basics - no toilet paper, hand soap, bin bags, limited towels. Generally clean but not deep clean - some cobwebs and dusty skirting boards etc. Flaking wallpaper on the ceiling, sections of damp. Dishwasher had a terrible smell like it hadn't been used for a long time, so we had to avoid it. There were towels and sheets strewn all over the landing and blocking the front door to the flat when we first arrived - we had to bundle them up and leave them on the stairs where they stayed for another day. No additional locks on inside of the flat, so if someone had the keys they could just come in.

Nice and comfortable, great location. Generally ticks the basic boxes but it'd be easy for it to go from fine to great if they made a bit more effort. Communication and booking was nice and easy, easy to get keys from lock box. Usually had space right outside to park on the street.

Need TLC in most areas. Welcome pack would be nice Lounge area not good for 4 people, couldn't watch TV from one sofa due to position. Only bare essentials in kitchen. Flickering main light on lounge. Didn't realise the bathroom was a jack and Jill.

Strange arrangement with bathroom in between two bedrooms. Means if someone in bathroom with doors locked, a person in the far bedroom is "locked in their room"!. Sofa bed had no bedding supplied when we arrived, but it was provided on request. Sofa bed not that comfortable.
