Not much really,it was clean cosy and the owners treated everyone like old friends,parking is limited so remember to book a space,i didnt but the owner found me a space the only thing i would say is we were on the top floor which might be a problem if you have mobility issues

Warm and friendly welcome from the owners,location was excelent,everything was easy walk from hotel,about 10 minutes from winter gardens,and the breakfast was superb

What a lovely couple Steve and Lynn are, very welcoming on arrival. Lovely clean, spacious room, bed very comfy. Slept like a log. Morning staff very friendly, service was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Lots of choice at breakfast. From fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, and, of course, a full English or a lighter choice of poached eggs on toast. All cooked fresh. On-site parking was brilliant.

Really friendly owners made us feel welcome. The room was clean and the beds comfy with a decent sized bathroom. Breakfast was really nice and there was lots of variety. Close to the seafront and not far from the Tower and Winter Gardens

The property was in a great location and the owner Steve reserved us a parking space. Both him and his wife were great - lovely people who were friendly but professional. The room was a decent size and very clean and the bed was comfortable.

The Sherwood was a great find, and a very comfortable stay. The parking is free, but when you book reserve a space there was plenty of room. We had a warm welcome and a very comfortable warm room. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order with cereals, fresh fruit, orange juice followed by a full English and toast. The service at breakfast was perfect, and friendly. A great choice for a stay in Blackpool the location was spot on close to the tower and central pier - a short walk !

I have stayed in hotels before in Blackpool and not been very impressed I booked the Sherwood for myself and two family members after reading reviews I have to say we were more than impressed I shared a family room with my nephew it was spacious spotlessly clean with a great size bathroom. The breakfast again was very impressive plenty of choice of cereals fresh fruits and a full English breakfast with plenty of toast and drinks. I would definitely recommend the Sherwood hotel and if ever I decided to return to Blackpool I would definitely stay here again. Thanks very much to Steve and Lynn for making our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. Everything was perfect from the minute we pulled onto the drive Steve came out to greet us and we were given our room's straight away even though check in wasn't until 15.00

Scratching my head - my only recommendation would be a later check out and breakfast served for a little longer on Sunday morning. But that is being uber critical as this didn't affect me. Breakfast was served on a Sunday between 8.30 - 9.30am and checkout was 10.30am. People go to Blackpool for a party. This is quite early for a Sunday morning.

Lovely find. Family run. Very friendly and a very good breakfast. The staff were attentive. Will not hesitate to return.

I stayed at The Sherwood with my friend for one night as we were seeing The Bodyguard at the Winter Gardens. The hosts were very welcoming nothing was too much trouble. Our rooms and public areas were very clean and breakfast was varied and plentiful
