shower had very poor pressure making it impossible to have a shower and wash hair, breakfast was definitely not served with a smile, table very cramped had to put toast on the floor when it arrived cold and soggy, no offer of coffee stewed tea already in pot on table before you arrived, full with elderly clientele entertainment was typical bingo each night, poor bar variety and made up prices, Gin and Tonic changed price three times. Better B&B in Blackpool after all there is 9000 and counting

Bathroom door wouldn’t open from inside when closed. Toast was burnt, and limited variety for breakfast options in comparison to other hotels in Blackpool

Good Location, friendly staff and good layout of bedroom

The room was tiny and I heard other guests saying the same. We didn’t have dinner but saw that there was only the choice of 2 meals or a salad.

The staff were lovely and friendly, we were able to get access to our room even though we arrived at 1pm. It’s a long way from the centre but there’s a tram stop at the end of the road. It appeared to cater mainly for coach trips but that did mean there was entertainment on in the bar each night, the singers were very talented.

Breakfast was chaotic. Whenever I've stopped at B&B's/hotels before, as soon as you sit at a table someone at least comes to ask if you want tea/coffee. Both mornings I had to ask after they'd brought the breakfast. It wasn't offered once, which was a shame. This was the only downside to an otherwise enjoyable weekend.

Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The entertainment was dated and more for 60+ but I still enjoyed what we heard. Loved that they had a lift too. Reasonably priced drinks, too. Room was clean and on the second floor so nice to have the lift.

Breakfast is too rushed. You ask for well done bacon it’s still not quite cooked. Your asked if u want one or two eggs with your breakfast and within 3 minutes they’re on your table so obviously not cooked enough and various other items on your plate are warm at best. Toast comes in 60 seconds and is chewy 😂. Was a bit of a cheek to leave a tip box out on day 2 for breakfast servers. Other than the breakfast the room was clean and tidy and very cosy.

Miserable staff, carpet matted to floor, wet dog smell and would not have booked if I realised it was a national holidays hotel. Breakfast terrible and plate the size of a saucer. Mention the word vegetarian and the staff glaze over.Tea towel on kitchen floor for 15 mins getting kicked around, then young girl picked it up and wiped round a plate of food that was about to be served to someone, completely unacceptable. Came home from here with bad flu. Had bad allergies to bedding, nearly left early. Some rowdy drunks smoking outside of hotel. They looked like they were homeless people but they were staying there too!! What we paid for two days here some people were paying less for four days on national holidays and getting food and alcohol. Older generation seemed happy, but they never seemed to leave the hotel. Some elderly people with terrible manners and etiquette, but not all of them. Staff and guests watching tv beside pool table, so we felt rude if we wanted to play pool so we just went out of hotel. Got the feeling that really do not like the guests and just "tolerate" them, sad really. Needs a full refurbishment and completely new "trained" staff. Manager seems to take reviews as personal attacks, which is not the case, it's just business and if something is broke then fix it. Treat customers with respect and it will be returned. Believe me, kill people with kindness and you will reap the rewards.

Nothing. Near pleasure beach, nothing else.
