Absolutely loved this place, one night wasn’t enough 😩 so relaxing and peaceful. So well kept. Great location, easy to hop on the train and head in to York which we did. Host communication was good. The weather made it, we were so lucky. Can’t wait to return.

Perfect place . Very nice area. Beautiful farm with some animals. Relaxing in the hot tub with my wife was amazing . Highly recommended! Definitely will be back again soon

Wallys wagon was quirky clean and well equipped with everything needed for a lovely short stay. Both me and my son loved the little visits from the ponies, alpacas, goats, horse and sheep!

The property was modern clean and tidy with absolutely everything you could need. The hot tub was a lovely addition and it had an enclosed garden area for dog which was ideal. There was a disposable bbq for use and hot chocolate sachets, butter and biscuits. The hosts have really thought of everything.

The location was tranquil and lovely, the wagon itself is beautiful and the animals made the whole stay wholesome. We were joined by the cutest cat in the world also.

Nothing really. Only complaint (which isn't really a complaint) was the shower sometimes went cold but not a big issue as it would soon warm up again.

Absolutely fantastic location, environment, atmosphere. The attention to detail in our Shepherds Hut and around the site was amazing. Also a couple of extra treats for my boyfriends birthday on arrival! Thank you so much. We will most definitely be back.

Nothing at all, the whole visit was a dream. I only wish we had booked a longer stay...

Wally's Wagon has been lovingly restored, with all of the essentials you could possibly need on a short break... We loved the little visitor information book that gave key information on the site, local area and the story of the wagon itself. The hot tub was ready for us on arrival, the animals were friendly and well cared for and the cats, Matilda and Bobby were so friendly and kept us company! It was too warm to need the log burner but the fire pit was lovely for later in the evening and the nearby Sweet Basil chinese restaurant was the perfect place for dinner.

The shepherd's hut was clean, welcoming, comfortable and the perfect space for a break away from the busyness of everyday life. The owners had everything ready for our arrival including the hot tub being pre heated which meant we very quickly settled in. A truly lovely trip away which was great for us and our lovely pair of excitable spaniels.

We stayed in one of the railway cabins, and it was an absolutely stunning night away. Checking in was super easy, and the hot tub was pre-heated for our arrival. Beautiful grounds with stunning views and loved the visit from the farm cats! Wished we had booked in for another night, but we will definitely be back!
