As someone recovering from a leg injury I hadn’t realized there would be stairs. Maybe I missed it somehow in the listing but I think for people with accommodation issues you should make sure it more clear. I managed them and it was fine but if I had know. At the time I booked I might have considered it more closely.

Initially, we had some difficulties locating the place but when we got there we found Skye View Cottage very comfortable and homey. The host greeted us with various coffee and tea and some biscuits. The Cottage was meticulously and flawlessly decorated with local photos and material.

Comfortable and cosy rooms. Includes a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher and even a washing machine to do all our laundry. House was equipped with everything we needed for a long stay. Great communication from the host, we felt very welcome. Perfect location to explore Portree. Highly recommend

The host had taken steps to leave us little snacks. This small gesture meant that we did not have to rush out for essentials. The host also had left laundry detergent, again a small but thoughtful gesture.

The property was impeccably clean, very quiet and comfortable. Pasha was fantastic with communication, including suggestions for things to do! She even warned us about midges and provided midge repellant.

The cottage was a little slice of heaven with all the comforts of home on The Isle of Skye where beauty and magical landscapes surround you. Definitely recommend!

Our initial finding the place was difficult in the dark and in the rain - a sign that indicated Skye View cottages would’ve helped us a good deal in finding it. Couldn’t tell if we were in the right place and drove around for a good 20 minutes- wound up heading to our dinner and then came back trying to find it again - once we realized the parking was actually IN the referenced hotel parking lot and not ACROSS it made more sense - also the allocated space was being occupied by someone else until they realized we were trying to park there.

We loved the facility- our host was very communicative & helpful - beds and whole cottage was clean and they left out some snacks for us which was lovely - loved the large bath sheet towels & the overall comfort - heated towel racks were wonderful especially after a chilly day! Would love to come again when more of Portree is open as we’d arrived Christmas Eve thru Boxing Day ..

Everything. Location is very close to town centre. The cottage is so lovely. Cosy, warm, newly decorated, sparkling clean, very considerate for the guests - everything you think you need, it’s right at your fingertips. The host even prepared a UK converter power plug. Very welcoming- a range of tea, coffee, jam, a nice ton of shortbread, etc. Has Netflix too. Nice little garden and covered patio area for hanging washing.

A cozy home away from home, great garden space. Fab location, a couple minutes walk from Portree's main street. The extra wee bits in the kitchen were welcomed! Host was communicative but not intrusive. We'd love to return ❤️

Location- 5-10 mins walk to main area with food and super market etc. amenities - well equipped to our needs. For eg coffee / tea and functioning kitchen for preparing light breakfast / food. Bed was quite comfortable. Toiletries available and washing machine which was handy. Cleanliness - overall was clean , cosy and comfortable. Parking - free parking outside the property. Host was very responsive and answered our queries very promptly.

The bathroom was downstairs and the bedrooms upstairs. For us older folks, it’s best to have the bathroom on the same level as the bedrooms.

The location was very good, walking distance to the center of town was easy. The owners were very responsive and made our stay more comfortable.
