The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean, spacious, with a kitchenette and lovely views out of both windows. Such a beautiful place to stay, a short walk from Bakewell itself although there is a hill. We would stay again.

Nothing about the lodge, it was just a tricky street to negotiate with a big car

I actually arrived later than expected due to traffic but the owner was super friendly and helpful. Had a lovely stay and the English breakfast in the morning was delicious.

Unfortunately there was a lot of noise from the apartment above TV, banging etc which I expected to a certain extent but the main issue was the gurgling noises from the bath and sometimes the kitchen sink every time when they ran the water this would happen which did become annoying. I wanted to mention this as I feel this is something that should be looked into from a maintenance point of view as potentially there could be a problem.

The apartment was everything I wanted and needed, very comfortable, clean and the location was very close to the town which was very easy to get to.

We were expecting to park outside our lodge but we were kindly asked to park in the overfill car park which was a slight inconvenience as it was up a short uphill walk. The inside of the property was reached by internal stairs in the porch area. This coupled with the steep walk into town would make it slightly unsuitable for people with mobility issues as I had myself. The sound proofing was adequate but could have been better.

The property sits high above Bakewell, and is linked to the town by way of a quite steep sloping pathway, Its only a short walk. The property overlooks Bakewell so the views from the lounge are incredible. It is decorated to a high standard and control of the heating is via the radiator thermostats. The apartment is quite spacious and the facilities are very suitable for a short stay.

The bath not necessary, replace with a shower cubicle. No bath mat to stand on if having a shower in the bath. The bed was too hard.

Lovely clean large room with bathroom. Plenty of hot water and good central heating. Good location with car parking. Everything there for self catering. Staff easy to contact. Quiet location.

The Welcome from Linda & John 1st class service, nothing was too much trouble. Lodge was clean, warm & comfortable and had everything you needed. Very informative welcome folder & we used one of the reccomendation restaurants to receive 10% off the food bill. Great views from the Lodge and only a 3 min walk into town. Thank you for making our stay special. Great work TEAM bagshaw 👍

Staff were great, the location is just perfect. The accommodation is fantastic. The photos of Bagshaw really don't do it justice. Would highly recommend as a place to stay.

Only warning shower slippery so be careful water lovely & hot, good pressure too. No grab rail as slippery

Great check in & help with parking. Explanation of services locally & great tip for dinner .. food was fabulous ! Local services & details available in accommodation. Accommodation had lovely view & was clean with plenty of space & plenty of complimentary tea & coffee etc for two of us. Very good value and lovely location 3 minute walk to centre for Bakewell Tarts !

Mmmm well if I was being picky I would have wanted a larger basin in the bathroom and a microwaveable dish for the microwave. We were just grateful for what was provided. It was also good to have Linda on site to help with anything.

The apartment was situated in an ideal position. Car parking easy. The whole apartment was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was pristine and beautiful white towels and toiletries available. The kitchen was small obviously but was just what was needed. The double bed was super comfortable. The whole apartment was warm. It was lovely to sit at the dining table and look out of the window to the scene of Bakewell below. I considered it excellent value for money as typically the price would be for a room and en-suite not a whole apartment.

Went to run a bath and the automatic plug didn’t work. The bed was dry comfortable but pillows were uncomfortable and synthetic - Just these two small things
