Some of the switches for lights didn't work in the room, although we had enough light so it wasn't really an issue. The water was not a consistent temperature when showering but for what this hotel is trying to provide I did not find a good shower necessary.

The room we got for the price, was great. Granted, it was a little small but it was more than worth it for the price. Felt a little vulnerable with there only being a sliding wall for the toilet door, but understood that this was necessary for the small box style budget room that the hotel is going for. The location was perfect, right by the station and close to the city centre which is exactly what we wanted. This hotel is great for those who just want a cheap and clean bed to stay in after a night out in the city.

Room doesn’t get much natural light due to small windows and it wasn’t the cleanest of rooms - some of the previous guests ripped milk sachets were still on the floor on my arrival

Staff were very friendly and helpful with any queries. The location was absolutely superb (right by Cardiff Central Station) and within walking distance of the city centre. Good value for money.

Only thing that was wasn't suitable for me was the mattress was to hard gor my liking But my partner loved it And when I lifted sheets to see what sort of mattress it was it was quite badly stained Also priced up a room for June and the price was triple which is a little bit over the top rooms definitely ain't worth that

That we couldn’t open a window for some fresh air into the room… by the following morning I felt it was really needed…this was the only negative … everything else was great

Nice room but really small. Very little space to hang clothes. Bad air ventilation in the room, apart from the air conditioning.

Rooms were a little cramped,! No place for two people to sit down at the same time.

Incredibly helpful and welcoming staff on the reception desk, at breakfast and around the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble!

- The size of the bathroom was too small for 4 people - There was no storage place at all, only 4 hangers - 1 window, which cannot be opened, so the air was heavy, especially after all 4 of us took showers in the morning / evening; as a result, there was mold on the bathroom wall/ceiling already (though everything looked brand new) - The safe did not work in either of our rooms (we had 2 rooms) - Breakfast was quite limited in terms of offer / variety - Parking was a real pain

- It was very well located in the center, close to the train station, which was key for us - The size of the room was quite good, even for 4 people - The beds were comfortable - It was very modern - The staff was very friendly

Couldn't get many channels in the TV but found enough for my short stay.
