being told off for arriving late (i.e., at 6:30pm), despite information shared at the time of the booking where we stated arrival between 6 to 7pm, and again sated in the post booking mandatory online form. Apparently arrivals post 6pm require pre-approval, which was never stated anywhere apart from an unpleasant telling off voicemail. Somehow this fact negatively affected the way one of the owners dealt with us during our stay, with no warmth.

A stones throw from the beach, clean and comfortable rooms with tea and coffee facilities. Breakfasts cater for all tastes from the Full Dorset and bacon rolls to Avocado on toast, and pancakes with banana and blueberries. They'll even make you a packed lunch for the beach.

The shower was very compact and somewhat squeezed into the corner of the room.

I very much enjoyed the (vegetarian) breakfasts. Noel and Elizabeth both cooked served and provided excellent table arrangements. The bedroom was clean each day and nicely decorated.

Welcoming, helpful, polite hosts. A real seaside feel with attention to detail throughout the lodge. Breakfasts were amazing with lots of choice. Homemade cakes were delicious and something to look forward to at the end of a busy day sightseeing. Beautiful beach and gardens 5 minutes walk from the lodge. Lots of shops , restaurants and cafés on the High Street and easy access to buses into Bournemouth, Poole and other destinations. We will definitely be booking again.

Very impressed with both the room and the hosts at the B&B. Felt very welcomed and was able to leave our car parked free for the whole 4 days we stayed. Was offered local info on restaurants and bars to visit including different price ranges and occasions. Breakfast was very nice, and perfectly presented, with plenty of options from traditional to some snack type options, with cereal fruit and juices available as well. The B&B was well located, with the atmosphere relaxed and chilled. Perfect for walking, which both me and my partner did everyday. Well done folks (or should I say Manwell??!!) 😂🤣

We liked everything! Seriously, stop looking for a place to stay, if you're looking at Southern Breeze Lodge then you've already found the best place to stay. Honestly, Noel and Elizabeth are fabulous hosts and made us feel very welcome. We even had really nice cakes left in the room each day which was a nice touch. Also one of the very few places we have stayed that had a little fridge in the room, which was a godsend. This place is brilliant, honestly, you cant go wrong. We will definitely be back again.

A nice touch having a cake in your room everyday. The location was good, the sea in one direction and the high street in the other. If you needed anything you just rung the bell. We felt comfortable with our surroundings.

Friendly hosts, spotlessly clean. The bed was so comfortable, it was an excellent location to go exploring and was literally a 2 minute walk to the beach. Wonderful breakfasts and the delicious home made cakes delivered to your room daily were fabulous. Would definitely stay there again, thank you Elizabeth and Noel!
