Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Nothing to complain about.
Everything was perfect. A very cozy hotel, attended by very warm and helpful ladies, close to downtown and not far from the train station. We have been there twice and it will be our choice every time we travel to Horsham. Comfortable rooms, great breakfast, served early indeed (useful when it is necessary to catch a plane or make the most of the day).

For some reason, we couldn't make the wifi connection work, however hard I tried. Maybe something I was doing wrong? Didn't pursue the matter as we were only there for less than 24 hours.
Frankly, we were amazed at the quality of the place. Everything seemed very fresh and fairly new. The breakfast was amazing: after buffet selection of cereals etc, breakfast was cooked according to our particular requests. Delicious! The location was also good: very quiet, yet not far from main roads and centre of Horsham.

Perfectly located for visiting Horsham. Lovely large room, huge bed, spotlessly clean, great shower, lovely staff and amazing choice for delicious cooked breakfast. No hesitation in recommending.

The room was very hot and a thick duvet but a fan was available. Sure that's great on cooler nights though!

Cooked breakfast was fine but cereal options could have been better - no muesli. Also no marmalade just jams and honey.

The mattress was uncomfortable but the hotel took steps to make it more comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent. Room and other areas were clean. Room had an en-suite wet room which was very useful. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Affordable and very comfortable accommodation not far from Gatwick Airport. A great place to rest up after a long international flight, within walking distance to southbound and city trains. The home-cooked breakfast was superb. Horsham itself is a delightful historic town to explore on foot. .

Bed was not that comfortable and seemed to be short as my feet hung over the end of the bed. Shower floor was quite slippery and the soap tray was broken. The shelf above the hand basin interferes with you washing your face prior to shaving, as it overhangs the sink and you hit your forehead on it when trying to splash water on your face.
One of the very best English Breakfasts I have had. Parking facilities. Very spacious and clean room with good TV, fridge and Tea Tray with kettle. Very pleasant staff

A perfect little place to stay - for a long or short stay. The check in was extremely smooth. The room was clean and spacious and breakfast was very very nice. Parking and within walking distance of the town centre. We had a funeral to attend nearby and this made everything feel much more palatable.
