Although there was a radiator in the room there was no way to turn it on so the room was very chilly especially as it has a very high ceilng. No double glazing so draughty - probably because it might be a listed building. Didn’t bother us but it might benefit from redecorating and updating

Easy access, friendly manager, powerful hot if a little small shower. Given a ground floor room due to disabilities which was very spacious for the two of us. Lovely garden square opposite and a very quiet location with ample restaurants a very short walk away(around 100m)

The toilet was lose from the wall when used and was almost unattatched from the wall (which was plastic) There were a lot of damages to the room like a big hole in one of the walls, a big hole in the curtains and some of the wallpaper was also tored. We paid for breakfast to be included but it was just a box of snacks and a juice that you had to take to your room to eat there because there where no places in the hotel to eat your breakfast at a table or anything.

Unfortunately, the bed was really uncomfortable. 😔

Staff, really chatty and helpful. Lovely, quiet area, with lots of shops and cafés. 25 min bus ride to and from Victoria Station. And 15 minutes to Oxford Street. Nice room. TV, coffee/tea, kettle, a hairdryer, and a desk fan. The bathroom was clean, and I had a lovely hot shower.

It wasn’t clean, badly maintained (bathroom door ruined on the bottom probably waterdamage), the included breakfest was a box in a fridge that was there the whole stay, smell from the drain.

Breakfast was a packed box of items, not really a breakfast. Rooms were outdated and the entire hotel shakes from the underground tube tunnel close by.

I asked for a quiet room and got a basement room that shook every time a tube or a train passed, which outside of midnight-5am is literally every few minutes. I had the worst sleep if one can if call it that

Location is excellent close to tube lines and Paddington station. Mattress and pillows are comfortable and theres a mini fridge in the room. Towels were excellent. I wouldve enjoyed my stay a lot better if i hadn't been given the noisiest room that existed, especially when i specifically asked for a quiet room

There were no blankets on a very cold night. Fortunately there was more than one bed in the room so I was able to utilize another quilt. The stairs down are very small and difficult to negotiaite and the property is above the tube line so very noisy. The furniture is old and poor quality and it needs a lot of reburbishment.

The hotel's location wasn't too bad. It's having to climb the staircase all the way up with heavy luggage and the hotel being very, very old and mouldy. The toilet and shower have a lot of black mould spots that could do some bleaching. The whole room, including the bathroom, has a lot of damage that needs restructuring and renewing. The bed is very old and dirty as when we inspected it, we almost didn't use the blanket so we didn't touch the mattress as it's broken and very dirty under the sheets. The bath towels were rugged, so we used our own. The food wasn'tvery fulfilling. . We could've taken more boxes, but each box of "breakfast" was similar having just a tetrapack of juice, a piece of factory-packed chocolate croissant, a small piece of bread that's also got chocolate inside, a fruit yoghurt, and a red Babybel cheese.

The staff were very accommodating. There are free candies in the reception that they allow customers to take no matter the amount. There are leaflets in the entrance about theatres and places in and around London.

The room was spacious, and clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very small and basic but adequate for 1-night stay. The staff were friendly. It was easy to find and I was able to leave my luggage at the hotel after checking out which was very useful. Great location only 5 min walk to Paddington. I didn't try the breakfast but it was included. Overall, it is convenient and good for the price.
