The ability to store bikes is brilliant but a hose to be able to wash them down would be amazing.

Our room was over the bar so noise at night was fairly loud until about midnight, apart from that everything else was fine.

Breakfast was basic but perfect at the same time, small but good selection, with toast, coffee and tea available. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Super god friendly so that was a massive bonus. Car park was great.

The electric shower was extremely noisy - when it was on it was like being on a building site!

Dated furnishings needs a refresh,tiny TV on wall and drinks station no where near a plug so had to sit kettle on the floor to boil.Wi fi is available but unfortunately couldn't receive in our room but no big deal

The lack of an evening meal is a let down but understandable because the establishment is relatively small and a full time chef would be an overhead that does not pay for itself. The shower looked impressive and was clean however it took a couple of minutes to work out what the control valves did and then I found that the water flow rate was only just adequate. The car park had space for 4 possibly 5 cars but where I parked my car was slightly muddy after some rainfall.

The hotel is situated on the main road close to the shops so everything is within easy reach and the coop supermarket is about 250m down the street. After check in you can access the rooms by a separate door, away from the main entrance. The breakfast choice was basic and I had toast and coffee. I have an intolerance to cows milk so I was not able to eat the cereals. I asked for black coffee and it was real coffee and delicious. The room I slept in was over the pool room but it was very quiet and the heating was ample to warm the room. There was a supply of tea and coffee sachets and three or four cups and an electric kettle that had to be used on the floor away from the dressing table. The bed was clean and comfortable. Lastly the staff are friendly and just let you get on with your business!.

We had a problem with the toilet and we had to check in at the public bar, there was no toilet rail or towel rail in the bathroom but the owner is going to rectify that

Quite a bit of noise from the street outside (pub kicking out time) but did expect this because of it's location

Continental breakfast included in the price, beds were comfortable and the room had everything you need for a one night stay. Room was clean though decor a bit tired but from other reviews we knew this. The staff were very accommodating sorting my son out with an earlier breakfast as he had to leave before they would normally have the breakfast room open and they stored our bikes safely for us.
