Our suite didnt have double glazing but staff said this was being done very soon.

Really nice location. Beautiful house and facilities. The suite was spacious nice and clean. Views were amazing.

Everything was perfect!

From entering the property to leaving, we had the best time! The staff were amazing and the bedroom was stunning. We added the romance package and this definitely added romance to the room. Can I just say the best thing about our stay was 100% the bath :)

Smalls cups and glasses in the room. And the bathroom had no shelf space for toiletries toothbrush’s etc. other than that it was a pleasant room.

The breakfast was very good for a full English but not much choice for a continental etc cheeses or hams! The location was fine, with lovely walks from the hotel.

I couldn't find a hair dryer in the room. The delivery of heating oil had been delayed and the rooms were not as warm as expected. But we were forewarned and electric heaters were provided and dinner voucher offered in lieu.

Room in the lodge was fantastic. Breakfast is very nice, but could do with it being available earlier (if you’re on business, say 7am onwards). I also think the dinner menu could be more of a wider variety and also I’d expect more facilities like a gym/sauna etc.

TV small and not on a wall ,shower was over bath ,would have liked walk in shower .

Location fabulous, in lively setting ,room was nice large bed ,could have done with a walk in shower ,shower was over bath ,needs larger tv on wall otherwise adequate.

Nothing not to like

Outstanding place staff AMAZING We did have to leave a day early as my husband was not very well and the kindly gave us a voucher for another night . They didn't have to do that but it was very much appreciated. Cannot wait to return.

It's not that I didn't like it but the house was built in 1635 and is amazing from outside but the inside has modern decor. Nothing wrong with that as it is very well decorated but if you are hoping the inside matches the outside, it doesn't. It's still a lovely place to stay.

Beautiful old house and the grounds are amazing. Every member of staff was friendly and welcoming. We chatted to reception , restaurant staff, maintenance guy and cleaners and every one was so nice and friendly. They should be proud. Food in restaurant was delicious.

Normal living noises that were magnified through the floor from the room upstairs and delivery vehicles at 0700hrs outside the room. Solve these two issues and I’d give 10/10 😎

Loved everything.

Staff went above and beyond. Really lovely workers, always happy to help even when I had a special request for the use of a chair! James was particularly fantastic! Room's were great and breakfast was yummy.
