Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomDidn't affect the stay but had a very early 2000s student halls vibe to it. There was a kitchen/cooker but given the size and layout of the kitchen it wouldn't have been practical to cook. Also a tight fit for 2 average sized people my partner banged her head on the headboard a couple of times! Also no lift if you're on the 3rd floor. Usually not a problem for me, post marathon was a bit of a trek!
The staff were lovely and allowed us to keep our luggage at the accommodation the day we checked out so we didn't have to carry it around the city before our late train. Flat was very tidy. Location was amazing, a short walk from Euston/Kings X.

United KingdomThat there was no way for me to open the window about an inch and then lock it so that I could have it open over night.
The studio was clean, within walking distance of King's Cross Station, and handy for the Piccadilly line as well, which makes it great for theatre trips.

United KingdomNeeded a table to eat at in the room, which was why I had booked a bigger apartment. No table big enough to eat at. Room quite dark. Bed felt cheap and too soft.
Location perfect as so near station and other attractions. Staff friendly. Building beautiful.

United KingdomThe mattress - not comfortable at all.
We were staying here as I was running the London marathon and the location was ideal for what we needed. The apartment itself was a reasonable size, okay cleanliness but the mattress was dreadful. It wasn’t comfortable at all and definitely needs replacing. Other than that, it was good.

United KingdomThe TV remote did not really work as the volume was controlled by the "left/right" buttons which was explained to me when I asked for it to be looked at. The Guest information folder was not in the room but as I have stayed here many times this did not inconvenience me.
The location is excellent for access to public transport and Waitrose. My room seemed to have been recently renovated and was clean and functional with everything necessary for a short stay in London. Curtains have replaced the blinds which make the room seem cosier. The gentleman on reception was very helpful.

AustraliaInitially our room was extremely small for two people, however, we were able to upgrade to a much bigger room. When booking take note of room size in the description. If you have have heavy luggage be aware of the stairs.
The place is convenient to Kings Cross/St Pancras Station and Russell Square Underground and buses. Close to supermarket which allowed for self catering. Plenty of pubs etc for eating out. Lovely area looking out onto a square. Laundry facilities on lower ground level is a bonus.

GreeceThe room is very, very small. It's smaller than you can imagine from the photos. The private bathroom also. You can barely get in.
The location is very good and central. You can walk to anywhere and kings cross station is 5 minutes from the rooms. The room always has hot water and heat on. Nice, quiet neighborhood.

CroatiaDue to the weird position of the kitchen sink, it's not easy to wash dishes or vegetables. Kitchen hood is a bit noisy.
The apartment is situated in a nice and quiet area of central London, not far from the Russell Square underground station. It's clean and it has almost everything you could need for a short stay in London. Although it's size is just 12 m3, it's more than enough for 1 person.

United KingdomIt was quite a walk up to the 3rd floor with luggage. But we were given the option of a lower ground floor and decided ourselves to take the higher floor room.

As usual, Studio2let met pur expectations! A peaceful place to sleep and even contemplate squirrels from our balcony in the morning, when at 5 minutes away from St Pancras. It's been years since we go to this place and it's never been a disappointment. Next time we surely will stay here. And we've been ambassadors for many years, now (about ten!).

United KingdomOnly problem for me was the stairs. As an older person I struggled taking my suitcase up and down the stairs. This was a personal problem and in no way reflects the standard of the accommodation.
Apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything you required. The area it was in (Bloomsbury) had many cafes and small shops.

AustraliaAs a shorter person it was a bit tricky reaching the microwave as it was high & in a bit of an awkward position over the bench, but I got there.
Room clean. Bed very comfy. Kitchen had everything I needed. Toiletries provided were great & the body wash & lotion were a lovely scent. Like how you can just ask at front desk if you need anything topped up. My room location was really nice, basement level and backing on with access to the garden. Great amount of PowerPoints in the flat. Tv worked well. Reception staff nice and friendly.
