The so called large bed was 2 single beds together 🤷‍♂️😂

The room and bathroom hadn't been dusted in a long time. but the bed, toilet and shower was clean. The shower gel plunger didn't work so had to take the lid off

I was late to check in but all went smoothly. Breakfast was good and rooms are a good size

Some of the finishings in the room needed to be tidied up better, toilet door was on a runner which didn't work well and tiling to the bathroom needed finishing off. Some noise from traffic outside main road if your a light sleeper. £25 extra charge on top of bill is held on bank card and gets taken out depending on services use in room like room service that we didn't know about will take around 3/5 working days to show back in account.

Room was spacious with separate living room area and bedroom. Comfy bed Hotel food at the evening was lovely.

I didn’t like there was a £50 charge that the receptionist said it wouldn’t show on bank and it did. They said we could use this at the restaurant and would be released if not used. Didn’t understand the need for that tbh. Really far from city centre, spa and pool were closed. The room service wasn’t nice. Breakfast wasn’t included and was £15 each and was average, should’ve went into town.

Clean, rooms were big and bed was comfortable.

But far out from the centre but I knew that when booking. Outside was a bit rough and view from my window was into a load of skips but again, not a big deal.

Room was too hot. Reported this on day 2 and the manager sorted this out so night 2 was more comfortable. The next morning it was very hot again. No instructions on how to work the temperature control box.

The fact that it was right next to an industrial park, Lorrie’s were constantly banging throughout the night so didn’t have much of a sleep both nights I stayed. And the spa area was shut! Didn’t mention that online so that wasn’t great. I’d of liked to of used the facilities when finished my work.

Well the property itself inside was quite nice you can tell it’s been refurbished. Food was pretty decent and the carlsberg pilsner was 👌🏻

As the hotel was quiet, I arrived approx. 10pm and was waiting at reception, someone was in the back office and there was no way of getting their attention. I didn't want to be rude and shout out. The person was very friendly. Same for the bar, I came for a drink and there was no one around as they were cleaning out the back. Once they were there, they were friendly. The spa and pool were closed for refurb and this was not communicated until I arrived - I would have liked to have used, I assumed that the price was reflective of the closure of the spa.

The staff were friendly, the breakfast was nice and the hotel appeared to be quiet. Room was nice. I left my watch in the room, the communication and handling of it was good and when I arrived to collect it, the team member was fully aware and clarification of details were good.

My room on the whole was ok but I could tell it was still under some work and that more work was required to get it up to previous expectations

I have stayed at the Suites previously and prior to the past 2 years. Glad top be back as it is so close to my work location

Bed was a bit hard. No instructions on how to use the heating. But these are minor grumbles, overall I would recommend this hotel

It was a shame the spa was being refurbished, but I guess the price reflected this. The approach to the hotel is uninspiring as it goes through an industrial estate. A fridge would have been nice.

The value for money was incredible. A huge and comfortable suite for £63 per night at the weekend. Taking a lift direct to the 5th floor was a laugh - it made me feel like a Vegas high roller :) The bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable - the best night's sleep I've had in ages.
