I’ve been glamping for many years and overall, this was the best place I’ve stayed. The best thing is that it’s only an hours drive. I’ll be returning again!

Our car struggled to get up the last little bit of the steep gravel drive and would recommend taking an electric fan if you visit in warm weather. The yurt was quite warm at night.

The yurt was charming, very comfy and had a lovely private garden to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. The location was ideal; just a 2 mile walk along the canal to Llangollen or Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.

The drive up to the yurt from the driveway was a little difficult however the hosts informed us that there was flat ground we could park on literally round the corner

Everything! The location was idyllic. Everything you need for a fantastic glamping experience. One of the owners dogs pickle came to great us and was so lovely to have her around! Very well behaved. The owners didn’t bother you. The yurt itself was stunning and very well equipped. Was pretty perfect

If we could say anything it would be that there needs to be some kind of glove to open and close the log burner door as it’s very very hot, and maybe a poker to move the wood and coal inside. But it was fine we just used tissue to open the door. Couldn’t complain about anything really.

It was very well equipped, clean, very cosy and the log burner was amazing. The owners were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return. The location is great to, only a short drive to the town or a walk along the canal, there is also a pub called the sun trevor at the bottom of the bank which is amazing for food. Walking distance too.. can’t wait to return

There wasn't anything in particular that we didn't like. It was difficult to get to the Yurt due to the condition of the path/road leading to the Yurt but this wouldn't put us off going again.

The location was perfect, some fantastic views from the decking area. The Yurt itself was lovely, very comfortable and the log burner just made it even more cosy. The kitchen and bathroom area were both also clean and presentable and had everything that you needed for a perfect stay. Would 100% visit here again. The view through the top of the Yurt at night was amazing, see the picture of the moon, this was the view when lying in bed.

We stayed here on Wednesday night and had a fab time - the views are stunning. We traveled in my bmw series 4 and although it is a steep hill if you know how to drive properly you should be fine. There seems to be a few reviews with trivial complaints- but can honestly say it was a beautiful place to stay and we look forward to going back. We will definitely be trying the Mexican meal when we go back as it sounds lovely but we had jut eaten in sun Trevor just a couple of mins down the road which was very nice and lots of it. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Beautifully put together, very calming and cosy. Staff work hard to make sure your stay is comfortable and are on hand if needed. I went for 2 nights and I wish I would have booked a longer stay. The log burner looked beautiful when lit at night and they also supply hot water bottles and a electric blanket. I took my dog with me and she loved the outside area.

Reading the reviews before we left to make our way to this lovely place, we noticed a lot of people complaining about it was awkward to find. We found it straight away, Postcode took us straight there! On arrival we were greeted by Simon who was such a lovely person who showed us everything and explained everything in detail. The fire was lite on arrival so walking in to a warm yurt in cold weather was amazing. I asked prior to arrival if I sent money over could i have flowers or chocolates left for my partner as it was her birthday, as we walked in there were a lovely bunch of flowers from m&s and a massive box of chocolates from m&s! Definitely go back in the future, thank you once again guys! You made our stay the best we could ever ask for. Kieran and Michelle
