To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomCar parking charge £12pn when room booked via Booking.com (free if booked direct) 3 nights = £36. But later discovered we could have parked more easily in the metered bays on the street out front, 3 nights = £20. Hotel is some distance from the nearest zigzag to the beach. Sometimes a long queue at reception. Stair carpets need worn edges capping or someone's going to have an accident. light bulbs not all working. Would be nice if asked about food intolerances & allergies when ordering breakfast.
Location. Away from noisy centre and facing the sea. Staff were excellent; friendly, proactive and made us feel listened to. Room was refreshed every day. Plentiful breakfast (costs extra) with multitude of food choices and good coffee. Plenty of lounging areas. Issue with first room 11pm first day, but allocated an upgrade immediately. Very pleasant indoor pool and poolside shower. Extra towels provided for pool use. Didn't use the sauna.

United KingdomStaff in the bar were non existent when visiting for a second visit-although they were visible and had acknoweledged our presence 3 times. We went out for dinner instead!! In the main restaurant, everything was very rushed and as soon as a course was finished the next one appeared immediately. Like a conveyer belt. I was in and out in 35 minutes!!!-And very small portions!!
Most of the reception staff were good, especially Laura Garcia-a very helpful and efficient member of staff. The meal in the bar was very good. The breakfast was lovely. Swimming pool was great.

Good location, about a 20 minute walk to the pier and the center town. Lovely view from the hotel top of the beach. We had breakfast in the morning which was a buffet and it was really good, my boyfriend and I loved it definitely worth the money. Room very clean and pool was also very nice.

United KingdomThe carpet in my room wasn't terribly clean. To be fair though it was such an odd brown it would be easy to miss dirt!
The staff were absolutely outstanding, truly 5*. The hotel itself is in need of a refurbishment but it was clean and had everything I needed. My room was quiet and clean. I made use of the spa facilities which were basic but there. The breakfast was very typical of an English hotel. All in all it was exceptional value for the price.
