Cosy, comfortable place which was perfect for our weekend away. Short walk into the centre, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Particularly loved all the local books and welcome basket.

In the main bedroom the double bed is small, my suggestion whem decide to change it , is to buy 2 singles bed or 1 queen size bed

The stairs are very steep

It was modern, comfortable and clean. The location was quiet, not far from the city centre and there was a supermarket only a few minutes walk away. Street parking outside the door.

Very well appointed home. Had everything at home that anyone would need while travelling with family. Great Experience. Would love to stay there once I visit York again.

This is by no means a complaint, but for us the 25 mins walk in to york was to much we needed more city center but when we come back to york races we would definitely stay here again with it being on the doorstep.

Very clean and really nice furnishings in this house, everything you need and a little more, with a lovely little back yard that was a sun trap in the mornings 🌄 😀

There was nothing we didn't like!

The street was quiet, and it was easy to park. It was a short walk into York city centre. The house was spotless. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower was great. Love that the cleaning and hygiene essentials were provided, plus tea/coffee, etc. Not to mention the thoughtful welcome hamper!

It has a very nice feel. It is very clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our stay. Parking outside the house and within walking distance of York city centre.

A truly outstanding property with all the amenities needed for a long-term stay. The house is extremely clean and perfectly located being only a fifteen minute walk from the station and Bishopthorpe Road. Provisions included laundry pods, a Smart plasma television, as well as plenty of tea and coffee pods. In terms of value for money, this property is unrivalled.

The stairs are very steep so anyone with mobility issues may struggle with them, but it is an old terraced house so the steepness was expected.

Great little property within easy reach of the city centre - great communication from the hosts - everything was spotlessly clean and comfortable within the house - welcome basket was very much appreciated too. . It takes around 25 mins to walk into town from Sutherland Steet, but taking an uber cost between £5 and £16 depending on the time of day which was great value for money.

Everything! Beautiful, clean,comfortable home, with every creature comfort provided. A browse through the visitors book is true refection of this perfect little holiday home, people from all over the world have all said how clean it is, like a home from home, how comfortable it is. Lovely stylish house with a great open plan downstairs. Lovely, well resourced kitchen . Downstairs loo and bathroom with bath and shower was a bonus. Spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and plenty of space to hang clothes. Lovely walk into the city - approx 20 minutes but through nice residential areas and down Bishy Road with lots of lovely cafes, bars and restaurants to stop at.

The twin room has a boiler which flares on and off at night, so woke the two up in there. If sleeping on the sofa bed, the fridge is really noisy!

Lovely furnishings, plenty of space and good location to walk into town (20/25mins) - taxis are cheap enough if walking is too far.

The sofa! Very hard and uncomfortable.

Excellent space and facilities, walking distance to shops, restaurants and pubs, and York Race Course. A lovely quiet location. Once the car was parked, we didn't have to move it again until going home.

This is not a criticism as it can't be changed (and it didn't bother us in the slightest ) but please be aware that the steps to the 1st floor are quite narrow and steep. There is a boiler in one of the bedrooms (where kids were sleeping) and they said they were woken up by it in the morning but I would say that is only if you are a light sleeper and like to sleep in (as it only came on around 7.30am). I didn't hear it ;-)

Lovely, clean property with everything you need for a short stay. It is in a quiet location approx. 25 mins walk to the centre (or 5-10 mins by Uber :-)) and the grocery shop, bakery, café and even a restaurant if you fancy eating out are literary around the corner. We spotted a lovely park with a lake nearby the property which we would have loved to explore but we run out of time so definitely next time!!!!! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay! A welcome hamper was a nice touch!
