We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomOdd furniture arrangement in the room meant there was a single socket for both tv and kettle, so if I wanted the tv on at the same time as boiling the kettle I put the kettle on a shelf for clothes, which was next to a double socket. Tv remote was tatty with no cover plate for the batteries so they were on the brink of falling out and not all the functions worked. Curtains didn't block out much light at night. Hot water took a long time to come through the taps. There was the obligatory mould round the bath and it looked like the nooks and crannies would benefit from a spray of limescale/mould remover and scrub with a small brush (otherwise the rooms looked clean).
Staff were very friendly. Bed was very comfortable and the room (113 on first floor, overlooking rear car park) very quiet -except for the usual inconsiderate people letting doors slam and banging about in their room. Good water pressure for shower.
