There was a beeping noise the whole night - we were in room 3 not sure where it was coming from but it beeped all night and made our sleep unsettled

Room clean. Staff friendly. In a good location

Toilets could do with work. Handwashdispensers broken and doesn't look like recently. Either replace or remove. Not expensive but would leave a better impression. Mattress on beds very very worn. Again not a huge cost.

Friendly staff. Good food. Great location for West Highland Way

I know there's only so much you can do with an old building but the hallway upstairs to the rooms was incredibly loud/creaky and it was fairly disruptive if someone was up earlier/going to bed later than you. The pub was a little lacking in character after our previous stays along the WHW.

Rooms were fine, nothing special but nothing bad. Comfortable sleep.

Was very tired and old could really do with new towels, bedding and a lick of paint. Staff were good but feel they are under pressure to work with what they have got and owner not investing. Was an old towel in the bin and place had only had a quick clean. I suspect this was due to the issues they were having that day as check in was very late as their tumble drier/washing machine had broke down. Doesn’t excuse the old and frayed towels and bedding could just buy new ones. Not worth the cost of the stay.

Location was great, staff friendly but looked under pressure.

Quite pricey as imagined in a popular location. It was quite run down and a makeover wouldn't harm.

Charming place and a large room with a decent shower.

    Good pub but outdated rooms.

The room was disappointing after having had a good dinner. The beds are way past their renewal date, including the covers which were too itchy to sleep under. The shower drain did not work well at first and the heater in the bathroom was on full power while we had warm weather. Leaving the key in the room, the staff did not have any spare. We climbed in through the window with a ladder provided by the cook. We felt we stayed in Fawlty Towers.

Drinks, dinner and breakfast were good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The pub/restaurant is nice inside and outside.

As basically pub with rooms at £75 pp breakfast should be included though could be bought for another £12.50 pp. Shower leaking door.

Decent location for other amenities in village, sightseeing

Great location if walking the West highland way. Not many rooms and a bit dated but clean and our room was quite large. Nice breakfast with excellent service.
