United KingdomRoad traffic noise even with windows closed. (can't be helped). Asked to eat and waited to be allocated a table even though this huge area was mainly vacant all night long :( No soap in dispenser in our bathroom in dispenser near wash basin. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and hard.
Most of the staff bent over backwards to be helpful, attentive and friendly. Nice, warm inviting from arrival. Bathroom and room was spacious and clean. Very clean rooms and bathroom. Clean, white fluffy towels. Clean bedding. Room was too warm but heating was adjustable. Great parking and could see our vehicle from our room window. Cancellation up to 4 nights before booking and no payment taken until then. Food was ok and they take Blue Light Card.

Me and my boyfriend stayed over night here at this hotel, before we was due to travel to a log cabin close by. The hotel was nice and clean, staff was friendly and helpful and food was great! We even come back during the day from the log cabin stay to have lunch here. We had breakfast in the morning, which was cooked perfect. We definitely be coming back to stay again.

The staff were fantastic. Kara the staff on reception and the bar and restaurant couldn't do enough for us. Always smiling and so professional. Katy the waitress was so happy and engaging with our group they both are an asset to the hotel. The room was pleasant and clean.

Isle of ManWe both chose steak for dinner on Monday evening. Unfortunately the chef had been very badly let down by the butcher and the steak was not edible. The meal was replaced, however the second steak was similar to the first and although tasty could not be eaten. l

United KingdomThe restaurant service was very poor in the evening. We were told to arrive early or we couldn’t eat (why give us that option, if not available?). Ordered a particular bottle of wine only to be delivered another, when queried told, we didn’t have the bottle you ordered so gave you another type without asking my preference. The shared camembert looked completely inedible - it was smashed (overcooked obvs), we were so hungry we ate it and asked for a few extra slices of bread. The staff were very accommodating. The staff tried but, the main course just about passed the menu test. We ordered a dessert (x1) - we left (staying at the hotel). To be very honest - a member of staff (the gentleman), (manager) delivered the food to our room - obviously over and above - so very hard to criticise. We were looking forward to breakfast but if had I paid for a continental, I would have been upset. It didn’t look lie anything listed on the menu…. There wasn’t any yoghurt or berries or much that resembled the lovely pictures on the menu. The scrambled egg was super dry (question-old) and the scrapping of smashed avocado defied the trades description act. Most of the staff were super accommodating for which., they should be applauded for, working under such difficult circumstances. We would definitely return, I think the hotel was having a bad day - most of the staff were amazing and rescued the ‘day’. I don’t need to be told this info - your staff rescued my time so I will be back. Thank you staff.

Great choice of breakfast,hot food cooked freshly to order, also porridge and yoghurt with berries, prepared to order. Restaurant manager at breakfast was great, she was so pleasant and helpful. Good prices.

United KingdomZip link beds didn’t quite match height wise so had a big line down the middle. This was uncomfortable to lie on/across. Room very large but lacked furniture and could do with a chair/sofa. Bedside ‘shelf’ tiny, little room for phone, drink, TV remote. Breakfast was disappointing with different things each day despite ordering the same.
Big, clean room with easy check in and access. Great location, easy parking and room had individual air con/heating. Staff very friendly on check in and helped by sorting late food order as kitchen was closing after a long drive.

United KingdomBefore I left for my event, I asked the staff what time the bar closed, the response was 11pm, just incase. however when i returned at 1045, the bar was already closed and i could not get a nigh cap. This let them down for an 8/10
The welcome was friendly and very helpful, they even arrainged me a taxi wth City Cabs who were also prompt and reliable. The Bedroom was clean and tidy with, tea,coffee and biscuits in the room. The breakfast was good the next more with plenty of selection, however the black pudding was slightly "rubbery"
