on arrival we were asked what time we would like Breakfast and we said 9, but were told that was too late by one of the members of staff as it was her shift which was odd as the Menu stated served until 11:30am

Perfect Spot if you want to visit Drayton Manor as it is only 10 minutes along the road. The Breakfast was lovely, full english breakfast and a bonus breakfast bar with cereals, fruit and yoghurts etc Our room was a great size with a lovely shower room, however the fold out futon which our son used wasn't very comfortable but luckily he can sleep anywhere!

Rooms are small - but it's an overnight stop, not a resort, so I was fine with that.

The staff are wonderful - they were super helpful and evidently proud of working there. The breakfast choice was great and the service was highly personal and attentive.

This is a gem of a hotel with amazing staff, incredible food and nice rooms. Immaculate room with lovely bathroom and lots of tea and coffee making facilities. Even if you're not staying there, you must try the food if you're on the area. High class restaurant food at pub prices! Exceptional!

It would be nice to have a 'heat' gauge on the menu for the curries, we all know that Korma is mild and Vindaloo is searing, but some indication of the heat of the ones in between would be good

I didnt know what to expect from this place, we had been let down by another hotel in Tamworth and it was a last minute booking. I was pleasantly surprised, the room was nice, the pillows were soft and fluffy and I enjoyed the food. On the subject of food, it is predominantly curries in there and they tend to be on the hot side, I had a Bhuna and it was pretty spicy, my wife had a Methi and found that it was too spicy for her, the price for the food was very good, a curry for about a tenner is pretty cheap eats in my mind, the place gets busy and a lot of people seem to want their food quickly, its cooked fresh and takes a while, particularly when you have a lot of people all ordering at the same time

The hotel was lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat an evening meal, but they looked and smelt amazing. We will definitely be visiting again to try out the food.

The bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable, hence I didn't sleep the best.

Good variety of breakfast included within the price Very generous portions supplied and good produce used. Staff are friendly and very accommodating.

I was thrown off a bit as I arrived late (half 7pm) I had to check in via the pub/restaurant which was really busy (not rowdy, just loads of diners and drinkers.) As traveling by myself it was a bit daunting walking into a busy pub/restaurant and waiting to be served to be able to check in with all my bags. The hotel is on the side and separate which was really quiet in comparison to the busy pub side so I can't fault that part. The room was quite small with no form of table which for just myself was fine, I would've rather eaten dinner at a table then on the bed though. I also had no idea there was Netflix til I pressed the wrong button when switching off so a little more info for dummies would've been nice.

The location was easy to get to and the cleanliness was spot on, it had everything I needed and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. Fab breakfast options and really friendly.

Some road noise all night as we were on the front of the property. Little disappointing as we were the only guests.

Quite recently refurbished. Modern decor. The owners very kindly prepared a varied continental breakfast tray as we had advised them we wouldn't have breakfast as we were the only guests. Thank you 😊
