The place is super dated, needed a good vacuum and spruce up. The floors were a mess!! Sink in my room didn’t drain and shower drenched the floor. Most of the urinal toilets in the reception bar area were blocked and full.

Need new/better pillows Showers need some work because when you turn them on all the water comes out onto the floor of the bathroom.

The shower in our room was too fierce and my friend ended up soaking the bathroom floor because either the tray was too shallow, or the screen wasn’t long enough to cover it. The breakfast was excellent in terms of choice, but my egg was cold and a bit rubbery. No decaf coffee at all in the public areas, at least not that we could find. We were at a function there and they couldn’t even provide a cup of decaf coffee for my friend during that. Minor details I know, but important at the time, to us. We ended up using some of the complimentary towels to sort out the bathroom floor.

Beautiful room, comfortable beds, all clean, easy to find location, excellent facilities.

There's nowhere to hang the towels you're using in the bathroom. You have the rail where the clean towels are( above the loo), but no hook anywhere else to pop your current towel. Or hang a bath robe or even your own clothing

Breakfast was great. The disconnect btwn adding breakfast at reception and it not being on the breakfast app was frustrating. Checked both days by staff, but suspect your systems won't "add" the breakfast if paid at check in. Maybe this needs fixing.

My husband found the bed a little uncomfortable The bigger chair (which looked nice) sagged a bit! No gluten free toast or sausages.

Bedroom was attractive, clean and had enough space. Staff member in restaurant was helpful in checking what was gluten free at breakfast.

Hotel is next to Telford Plaza which has very noisy air conditioning unit at the top which runs day & night. Sounds like a plane taking off & or like its blowing a gale outside. Seems affect rooms at the back. Got very little sleep. Rooms need some attention(e.g mouldy net curtains, windowsills need painting and chipped paintwork on doors and some mould in bathroom. Bathroom light mirror very dim, needs to be UV so you can do your make up properly. Swim changing rooms don’t have proper lockers. Dirty & rusty. I asked how they work & the guy said oh members need to bring own padlock. I was a hotel guest as I had just told him my room number but failed to mention padlock thing after I was undressed in my swimwear. Hotel jacuzzi was fantastic but too much chlorine asy eyes were streaming

Spacious rooms. Big Bed. Pool & Jacuzzi etc. a nice bonus. Great breakfast. Fantastic staff.

The staff are always welcoming However, the lady serving the coffee had an attitude when I complained about the coffee tasting off First time ever being treated like that, so maybe she needs some customer training as the receptionists are brilliant

The shock of paying £10 to park, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere. I have stayed in other hotels in Telford and never had to pay extra. The stress of being charged £100 by mistake too if there’s any problems. Seemed like a major staff shortage. The place was empty. The guy at the pool didn’t seem to want to be there. The pool was tiny and had lots of chlorine in Not able to use lockers at the pool. The staff member told me I should have brought my own padlock? Never had this at a hotel, even if they use padlocks they usually provide them. Breakfast was empty and most tables piled high with empty plates when we went down. When staff did appear they worked hard and the problem was sorted. And lastly the weird building near the hotel, sounds like a plane is taking off! Constantly seems to be on. If you have a room on the right of the hotel I guess you could hear it all night

only downfall is that the shower sealant was mouldy aswell as the shower head, could do with replacing or deep cleaned, changing rooms to the pool need updating. Anyone could get in the lockers and take any belongings.

Doors at entrance stay open too much & so Lobby area was freezing! Room was cold until asked to turn on heat then set at 28degrees on unit in room & could not change it so room unbearably hot to sleep in! Swimming pool, changing rooms & spa area are filthy! Needs deep clean & better lighting. Dark & dingy

There was a dirty looking brown stained shower mat at the side of the shower, which I obviously didn't use and it had attracted some silver fish insect/bugs, which my husband saw whilst going to the toilet. The plug socket came out from the wall when my husband unplugged his charger, obviously not expecting that either, but all in all we would still stay at the hotel again, as these were just small issues and the hotel overall would get a 10/10 but gets a 9/10 instead just because of the tiny let downs.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The bar/restaurant was really nice, good relaxing atmosphere. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. The hotel is within easy reach of telford center, the train station, visitor attractions etc.. and most importantly all our family.
