Breakfast, including the tea and coffee, was excellent. The rooms was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The owner was extremely accommodating and obliging, nothing was too much bother and their wee dog Alfie was a delight.

The Ardyne is exceptional value. The room was pleasant with a sea view which I had not expected as it was a single room. The breakfast was very good. I was comfortably able to walk to shops/restaurants. Would recommend if visiting Bute.

The location was great - 10 minute walk from the town centre. The breakfast was fantastic - a good variety of food to choose from and it tasted amazing. The beds were really comfy and there were loads of cushions and blankets so it was cosy. The room had everything we needed. Really powerful shower. My favourite part was Jane!! She was so accommodating for us, making sure we had everything we needed (drying our socks!! dropping us off places in the car because we only had our bikes, giving us recommendations, tea and biscuits) and going above and beyond to make us comfortable, as well as just being enjoyable company (thank you Jane!). We had a great stay and will definitely be back to see Jane and Alfie (the cutest house dog). Great value for money and the views from the house are incredible. Would definitely recommend.

I can't say I disliked anything. This BnB was smashing, and I will be back... I highly recommend Ardyne House for staying at while on Bute....

We stayed here for 2 nights....we were made to feel welcome by the proprietor and her gorgeous wee dog Alfie...(he reminded us of a stieff bear)... Our accommodation was spotless, warm, and very relaxing... The bed was 1st class comfortable. We had breakfast served both days, and it was beautiful...Lovely friendly staff at hand for anything you required.

My bedroom was beautifully decorated with very comfy bed and pillows and a wonderful seaview. There was a good vegetarian full breakfast option. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is just a shortish walk into Rothesay along a wonderful seafront path. There are bus stops nearby. Beautiful location!

I didn't have access to wifi in my room on the top floor, but at least it was working in the communal areas on the ground floor.

The house, rooms, and location were all very beautiful and relaxing. The owner and other staff were very nice and friendly. There were wonderful views of the water, and the rooms were set up to take advantage of it. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was really delicious (the best full Scottish I've had). And it was by a nice walkway along the water, for walks either into town or in the other direction.

Going home

View to die for. Room was quirky with little dressing room . Not centre to Rothesay maybe 15 to 20 walk but lovely stroll with breathtaking view . Breakfast so tasty and staff n owner friendly and helpful.

It was a bit of a distance to centre and we were third floor, fantastic views but was a bit of a trek upstairs for our age group.

Surprised our rooms were not made up when we returned from a day out.

Lovely large room with a magnificent view and comfortable bed, bathroom fine. Breakfast very good, I very much enjoyed my porridge. Friendly personal welcome. Perfect distance to walk into Rothsay.

Just a slight niggle - the shower temp in room 4 was hard to set - either too cold or too hot - could not seem to find a happy medium.
