Couple of things probably need updating, it’s a little rough around the edges however was completely usable. Only issue we had was the upstairs neighbours had someone banging on the door rather aggressively early in the morning. (You share a main front door, then have your own entrance into the flat). Not sure what the issue was but as two young women alone in the flat this did scare us slightly. But I’m sure this isn’t a regular occurrence.

The property was very well located to the bay and about a 30 minute walk into town. It was just what we needed. We used Uber to get to and from town and averaged around £7 for the trip which was great! The fridge was turned off when we arrived (I think the previous occupant turn it off thinking it was the cooker) but a text to the hosts and it was sorted very quickly! Couldn’t fault communication with them.

The flat was clean and had good facilities. I especially liked the provision of milk, tea bags and washing up liquid. As I was only visiting for a short period it would have been wasteful to buy these.

Little bit of damp here and there and the floor in the kitchen and bathroom are a bit slippy. Little bit of noise from the neighbours upstairs but not enough to bother us.

Second time here! Great location to the Bay, shops and restaurants. Lovely apartment with enough space for 3 of us and a nice courtyard with table and chairs. New sofa bed in the living room which is very comfy! Host is very helpful and friendly too! Very quiet street with parking permit which is handy.

There wasn't anything negative to say.

The staff were very accommodating. Mermaid Quay was of close proximity and the bed was so comfortable. Perfect for what we needed. Oh, and having coffee and tea available was a bonus.

Absolutely lovely apartment, very clean and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. Location was excellent great if you are visiting the bay and an easy 30 minute walk into the city centre. We enjoyed the suntrap of a garden as well.

There isn't shower gel or shampoo provided which would provide convenience to guests. There isn't any cutting knife and we managed with our fruit knife. The host was not responsive when we tried to contact to get the code as the code provided was incorrect which caused unnecessary stress. Fortunately the cleaner was still at the property and she let us in and told us the correct code. The cleaner is lovely.

The apartment is very spacious and kitchen well equipped for preparation of meals. It also has a washing machine though we didn't need it. It's conveniently located in Cardiff Bay and walking distance to all the places located in the Bay area. You can even walk to the CBD or the Cardiff Castle.

If I was to be really picky, It would of been nice to have a duvet cover for the spare quilt and a spare pillow too just for the use of the sofa bed. But otherwise no complaints! ☺️

Lovely apartment, exactly what we needed and more really! There were 3 of us, so the extra sofa bed was perfect and plenty big enough for me, and I am 6 ft! It was an excellent cleanliness and felt fresh throughout. We all had a great sleep after a long day in Cardiff center!

Could do with coat hooks in hall, very very cold floors (we did appreciate the heating but had forgotten slippers & it was the cold snap) & could do with more choice of pans as was cooking a full & varied meal on Saturday night

When arriving at the property the parking permit wasn’t there, we had a space outside the house but had to move the car 5 minutes down the road. The power kept tripping out, to which the owner kept sending people round at past 11pm at night. Not the greatest place I’ve stayed for the money
