A refrigerator or a breakfast option would be very helpful, especially for a longer stay.

Excellent location, right next to the beach and shops, easy walking distance from bus stations and train station. I stayed in the small single bedroom with own bathroom, which had everything I needed for a short stay. It was clean and homey, including a nice basket of teas. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated that I could open the window and air out my room (this is not a given at all). The hosts were communicative and helpful, offering advice on the logistics of my travel and attentive to the safety of their guests.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The hosts asked for additional feedback so here goes; I would have preferred a glass made of glass and a ceramic drinking cup and metal spoon rather than the eco friendly disposable plastic cups, paper cups and wooden spoons. These could be acquired from a charity shop? A slightly bigger fridge would have been good but I know the single room was limited on space. Handwash in a plastic bottle was provided but no shampoo or shower gel. It was no big deal. I went to Holland & Barrett and purchased a Faith in Nature shampoo bar and pure olive oil soap both plastic free. It did get noisier outside in the evenings and on the second night I got woken up at midnight by some people shouting in the park across the road. Luckily, I had some ear plugs so for the rest of my stay I used them. It was very hot weather in the first week of September so the duvet wasn't used. I ended up sleeping on top of the bed and used the bed throw provided in the room. Would there be a possibility that the hosts could provide a cotton sheet to use on it's own in the future in the event that there is hot weather?

The hosts were friendly, helpful and clearly passionate about their business. I really liked the interior decoration of the property and my room. I also liked the crisp white bed linen and fluffy white towels. The bed was firm and comfortable and didn't make noises when I moved. The bathroom and room was exceptionally clean. I had a view of the beach from room 7 which was great and a chair was provided so I could sit and look out the window with a cup of coffee. The information pack in the room was clearly laid out and concise. It was nice that hand sanitizer was provided. There was a tv with remote, hairdryer, fan and mini fridge provided in the room. I only used the fridge. Tea and coffee and a kettle was provided in the room. There were additional supplies of tea, coffee, bin bags and toilet rolls available in the hallway if required. I liked the fact that the cups, cutlery and bin bags were eco friendly. There was very little noise from within the property and from other guests. The location was great because it wasn't on the busy main road and so close to the beach and town centre. I would definitely stay there again in a single or double room.

The location is perfect for exploring Weymouth and within easy walking distance from the train station. We received a warm welcome and immediately felt comfortable. Our room was lovely and had a nice view of the harbour.

Nothing. There is no parking at Bayliss Hall but not an issue as public parking nearby. A table lamp might be nice but overhead lighting could be dimmed when needed.

I enjoyed my stay at Bayliss Hall Guesthouse and would definitely love to stay again and happy to recommend it. I had a single guestroom that was small but perfectly adequate and appreciated the eco-conscious products provided, general ethos and the personal touches that made my stay very memorable. Glen and Gregg are a great couple and were really helpful and caring throughout my stay. Thank you both. They are great people, very friendly and informative, the guesthouse was clean and comfortable and a brilliant location.
