Exceptional, The room was spacious and tasteful. The bed extremely comfortable. The bathroom facilities were clean with great smelling shower gel. The breakfast selection was great with good quality ingredients. Thank you both you are doing a great service and l wouldn’t hesitate in going back.

Absolutely nothing to dislike. We had a excellent experience.

Excellent location and on site parking. Charlie and Julie-ann met us on arrival and we received a very warm welcome. Fabulous Suite, very spacious, quiet, large comfortable bed and lovely ensuite with robes and slippers. Room facilities were excellent and it had everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable. Mini fridge with fresh milk and bottles of water replenished daily. Homemade shortbread biscuits accompanied the tea making facilities. Amazing breakfast selection and cooked to perfection by Charlie. Nothing was too much trouble and umbrellas available by the front door if needed. Amazing hosts and we will definitely visit again.

On arrival, we were made most welcome and explained about our stay. The room was lovely, cosy and clean, with all that you could need. We where offered the use of umbrellas as it was raining. Which was a god send as we had forgotten our rain coats. Easy come and go access, without any hassle. Lots of leaflets and information on offer for what's on in and around the area and even offers a selection of reading books, should you need a novel or two. When it came to breakfast, you could not have asked for more. There was a good choice and the cooked breakfast was as per your request and finished off with a lovely homemade muffin. Host are lovely and we had a great chat in the morning and it was lovely to have met both Charlie and Julie-Anne.

It is a very good bed and breakfast. The best part is the breakfast, with many choices. The location is good, on the way to the harbor and easy to find. Hosts Charlie and Julie-Anne were extremely nice.

Excellent , you cannot get any better, this is the number one guest accommodation on Avenue Road Torquay , the owners are extremely nice easy going people and will go out of there way to make sure that you are happy-the breakfast was the best I’ve had in Torquay in the last thirty years , superb quality meats and cooked to perfection, the room was lovely and warm with tea and coffee facilities, fresh shortbread and lovely biscuits and also a fridge with bottled water replenished daily, the owners are absolutely down to earth and genuine I take my hat off to Charlie and Julie you are both super people , we will recommend you to all our friends and family , the hotel is spotless the rooms are above and beyond , the parking was superb a short walk to the town, to the railway station and the seafront it was superb and we will 200 percent be coming back if anyone gets any better I would be shocked many thanks for our lovely New Years getaway Clive and Jane from Hereford

Very welcoming host and hostess. Exceptionally clean. Bedroom nicely decorated with extra touches to make the room welcoming. We enjoyed the breakfast which was well cooked. Plenty of choice from the menu and the coffee was great. If we decide to stay in Devon again we know where to book as we know we will be well looked after.

Charlie and Julie are amazing! The room was bigger than expected, very clean and comfortable with air conditioning to keep us cool in the summer. The breakfast was very good and well presented with many options. Home made shortbread in the room from the owner was just amazing. Good location and onsite parking was great. Will definitely return if we come to Torquay again.
