Upon arrival i was greeted by a very welcoming helpful and friendly host,the checking in process was also swift and hassle free.The property was exceptionally clean throughout,tea and coffee making facilities and also a microwave and fridge provided in a small but adequate kitchen area,the room itself was quite spacious and comfortable with a wall mounted TV.The Property is approx 10 minutes walk from St James Park Definitely would stay here next time I travel to Newcastle

Not having my own bathroom or toilet however the bathroom was very clean. The area where the hotel was not very nice unkept and rubbish everywhere not good .

The young lady who greeted me was very pleasant. The room was clean and the bedding was spotless

Noise from other guests in the small hours and I didn’t realise the heating wasn’t working , but that also was really early in the morning and couldn’t be helped by the hosts.

I was welcomed warmly by Michelle & i arrived slightly early but it was no problem. The hotel was lovely, spotlessly clean & comfortable. Everything I needed & amazing value for money. Had a great nights sleep, & there is tea & coffee available free in the morning.

I had little problems with checking in after 10 pm. It's not that something was bad bout the hotel, just make sure you find out all the details, including your room number, in advance in case you are going to come after 10 pm. And also - trust the picture of the house on the site, not Google maps)

It's a nice small hotel, at a perfect price and location. Good value for money, a comfortable bed and soft new towels 😊. Friendly staff too )

Hotel good. Had Instant water heater in shower, so great hot shower. No soap or shampoo, so have your own. For elderly, no lift, stairs steep. The Brighton is in a clean neighborhood, but all the shops a block away are Halal. No pubs or alcohol. And the area is a garbage dump. One Indian restaurant near there was beautiful & food EXCELLENT!

Couldn't criticise a thing. Excellent value for money.

Very clean and tidy room. The hotel itself was very quiet and restful. Excellent value for money. Enough hanging space for me. Plenty of power sockets. Good public transport into city centre, bus stop 1 minute away and buses every 10 minutes.

No kitchen facilities, not even a microwave or a fork. Noisy street and thin walls. The person in the adjoining room talked on his phone till 3 am (obviously not the fault of the accomodation). English shower taps are different to my home ones and no instructions meant no shower. Hard to ring Michelle whilst standing naked in a shower😀. All in all good value but a bit like a boarding house without a kitchen.

Lots of noise from the road outside, which affected sleep quality. Even with the window closed, a lot of noise went through.

Nice and friendly employee who helped out with the check in. Very reasonable pricing. Good amount of TV channels. Nice and probably newly renovated hallways and room.
